It was my second time here and it did not disappoint. I was a little bit more adventurous asking for modifications on sushi rolls since I don’t eat raw meat. I took a good book with me for some QT and they sat me in a quiet part (at the time) of the restaurant.
Last time I was here, I was dealing with incredible stress. The manager and I chatted and she brought me a little sample of their vegan unagi.

Well, today, I ordered the roll. The eel is substituted with eggplant. The carnivore in me rejects typing this compliment but it was really good!
The server was courteous asking about my gf questions. He put my order in as an allergy for added attention.
I left feeling good. No bloating not stomach aches.
One of our favorite restaurants! Lots of GF options. GF food is prepared in a separate spot and always safe. The side salad with carrot ginger dressing, Philadelphia roll, and VLT roll are my go to!
Note: The River Rock Beef should be avoided! The normal marinade has gluten and will make you sick!
Dining in is great, ordering takeout was not a good experience. They put my boyfriend’s breadcrumb covered sushi touching my sushi (off of the GF menu) despite being told not to.
They even wrote gluten free on top of the box like they weren’t aware that the breadcrumb sushi had gluten.
I don’t understand having a gluten free menu and taking the time to portion GF soy sauce by hand just to put them in the same box to have breadcrumbs get everywhere.
They would not provide a refund since it was through doordash.
