The menu has gf items marked (steak, chicken, fish, etc.).
I had a special that included steak, lobster, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. I let the waitress know that I had Celiac Disease and asked that she marked my order as a gluten allergy for the chef.
I did not get sick but unfortunately half my steak was very rare and I couldn’t finish it but had eaten enough by then anyway with everything else I had.
We sat on the waterfront patio which had beautiful views.

Waitress was very helpful. Let me know that the fryer is shared, and the burgers are cooked on a shared surface, so I knew not to get those things. There are clearly marked GF entrees on the menu, and she explained that they are cooked in a dedicated pan, etc. Ordered the walleye with wild rice and cooked vegetables. It was so delicious and looked beautiful on the plate! My husband ordered the roasted half-chicken with mashed potatoes, which was also GF so we could share. Also delicious! I did not get sick after the meal. Our kids enjoyed their non-GF kid's meals. The food here is a little pricey (to be expected from a resort), but nothing too crazy, plus the seating outside by the lake was wonderful. A real treat!

Gf buns, bread and pasta- IBD not celiac
Limited gluten free lunch options, a quinoa salad. House burger is gluten free, with gf bun. As a celiac, I understand that some places do not have a large selection of gf options. We arrived at 4:45 so we could order off the lunch menu, or dinner menu. The dinner special was a prime rib, with gf au gratin potatoes. I ordered a burger, and requested a side of potatoes. They refused to serve them to me, saying the potatoes were for only those who ordered the prime rib. Really?! There’s only a few gf options, and I can’t be served something on your menu that is gf? I would’ve paid nicely for an order of potatoes! Now I won’t be going back....ever
