Excellent GF and certain allergen free bakery. Great addition to downtown and the Burg. Tried several items and all were amazing. I am celiac so finding safe bakeries is such a pleasure. Cute space too.

What an adorable spot in downtown Harrisonburg and very close to JMU. We tried multiple items (brownie, macaron, donut) and all were delicious. The ambiance was so cute. Entire facility was gluten free.

We sought this bakery out via the app during Spring Break. We bought a variety of baked goods and everything outstanding!! We live out of state and hope they will resume shipping soon so we can enjoy the “best cookies ever” per my family!

If I lived in Virginia I would come here every single day. I hope the woman who runs this bakery becomes super successful with the store. My boyfriend and I went on Sunday (bread day!!!!) and got an artisan loaf and a cheesy focaccia. This is by far the best GF bread I’ve ever had. It tastes and feels so much like regular bread I got nervous that it was!! I’ve had her baked goods at the farmers market and they were delicious, had great texture, and had unique and fun flavors which is so rare for GF treats. The espresso is also some of the best I’ve had in Harrisonburg. The environment is very cozy and cute and beautifully done. I luckily visit Harrisonburg often and will be back every day that I’m in town.

BMC Bakes is a 100% gluten free bakery with delicious snacks, desserts, and coffee. There is indoor seating including a cozy loft area, good WiFi, and a bright storefront. Option include donuts (cinnamon sugar are amazing!), cakes, macarons (must try), breads, cupcakes, and cake jars. Some items are also vegan and/or dairy free. Sarah, the owner, has been in the business for a while now but was only at the farmer’s market and a few local shops. Now with a store she has expanded and still offers custom cakes and treats. Sunday is bread day! Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

I love this bakery so much! The macarons are amazing, and she makes the best gf bread and focaccia I’ve had. I especially appreciate that she includes lots of dairy free options every week. And it’s a super cute, clean space to hang out and have a coffee and a treat. Wonderful place!

Cute little bakery with 100% GF options. The donut and Bundt cake were amazing. We also got a mini bday cake from them which was so cute and also delicious.

Most delicious baked goods I’ve had since going gf!! The macrons are huge and always really fun flavors. The ube is amazing! The bundt cakes and cookies are also so yummy. Most of their baked goods are dairy free and some are even vegan. Super allergen friendly and the staff is lovely as well. Support this business!

Oh, my soul. Who knew GF could be so amazing! This bakery is completely gluten free and also does have pastries that also will be for other allergens, too. Do yourself a favor and try it out!
