We had a great experience. We had a long day of hiking and just wanted some quick tasty food in a casual environment. The gentleman conducting the whisky tasting was very friendly and explained that customers can order food at the window and then walk to the back where there is open seating. The GF option was a 14” pizza which ended up being HUGE and bigger than we expected. My daughter loved the crust. The rest of us had salad and a BBQ chicken pizza and both were delicious. The salad was very large and heavy on the veggies (olives, carrots, cucumbers, etc). We were all very pleased with the meal.
I see a negative review from two days ago, but my experience was very positive. Friendly service. Their gluten-free crusts are either 14 or 19 inches, very tasty and tender for gluten-free, and toppings can be anything on their normal menu. I also had a garden salad, which was full of veggies, including tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, black olives. I am a non-symptomatic celiac, but felt comfortable dining here. It’s a walk up type of situation for ordering, so you can see into the kitchen. Any of the pizzas on the printed menu can be made gluten-free.
I would not recommend this place to anyone with Celiac. We walked in with high hopes based on other reviews here. When we asked the man at the counter about the gluten free pizzas, he adamantly denied that they could do anything to cook it safely. Honestly was rather rude about it. He said they have one oven and use the same utensils on everything. We left and went to Poppy’s for pizza which was a great experience.
February 2022 GF pizza comes only small, which is 4 large pieces of pizza. We ordered pepperoni pizza and Hawaiian pizza. We wish we only ordered the Hawaiian. It was a great tasting pizza. Would definitely go back. Very neat little restaurant. August 2022 GF pizza size changed. It's a 14 inch pizza now or 8 slices. Not as good as it was in 2022, seemed a little under cooked. Not the best pizza.
The pizza here was decent overall. The crust had a soft, puffy texture that is very rare for gluten free pizza and I appreciated that. It was also nice that you could choose between 14” or 19” size for the pie. Note there was a $3 up charge for gluten free not reflected on the menu. Good option for gf pizza in Estes!
This place is largely a whisky and beer place but has a pizza counter. They do a very good GF pizza base which was the same size as their regular pizza so I didn’t feel short changed. I had the veg pizza as I couldn’t be sure of the toppings being GF. Overall I didn’t feel unwell after eating and it tasted great.
Have gluten free and cauliflower pizza crust. The gluten free crust was very dry and similar to a cracker. No dairy free cheese but made some of the pizza without it. They weren't sure if the sausage had gluten so they said they would not add it to the Tony's Special we ordered but they did anyway.
