They have multiple things marked on the menu that are gluten free. However when I told the waiter I was coeliac, they informed me that most of the items were not gluten free and that they had been trying to explain this to the manager and the chef. That waiter was amazing though, and kindly worked through the traps on the menu with me, which required them to go back and forwards to the chef to confirm ingredients. In the end there was only one thing that was coeliac safe, and they had to make it specially with a different sauce. I later emailed the manager to explain the reason why marking these things GF when they aren’t is very damaging, and received this reply back “For the case of deep fryers – we do have options available to use a separate deep fryer for any of our guests with special requirements if anything is flagged by our wait staff. We also do have a little note on our menu asking guests to discuss any allergies with wait staff to avoid these situations.” In summary, make sure you double check with waiter.
