Originally was planning on going to South of Nick’s right next door but the wait was 2.5 hours, so I we went to Bodega Laguna instead. Before we sat down I asked the hostess if there was anything I could eat because I have celiac and can’t have cross contamination. She went and talked to the manager for me and then came back and said they would cook anything I wanted on a clean grill. Once we were seated the manager came up and talked to me and she had talked to the chef and assured me they would make anything I wanted gluten free. No chips because of dedicates fryer, or burritos, or quesadillas. When our waiter arrived he came up and asked who has celiac and assured me he would mark anything I ordered with a gluten allergy. I ended up getting the Sur Laguna bowl just because it seemed like the safest option and it was! It was yummy and I didn’t get sick. This restaurant wasn’t originally on here so I wanted to add it because of how amazing they did in communicating!
