The main dishes could be made GF. However I was assured the dessert was also gluten free but it turned out to be cream of wheat and was glutened. The owner was the one who assured me it would be GF. Came back and told me to google it after I had already ate it. Beware.

We were on our way to a different restaurant in Ao Nang when we saw a sign advertising gluten-free food at this restaurant, so we changed our dinner plans. What an amazing experience!
From the moment we arrived, we were assisted by server/chef Karthik, who emphasized that he would take care of me (as the only GF person in our group). He explained that his brother is GF and he shares his knowledge about food allergens with the staff. He pointed out that much of the menu is gluten free. He recommended that we try the (fermented) dosa from the South Indian portion of the menu. Dosa is a large thin pancake-like thing made from a special rice flour, white lentils and fenugreek. It is served with three dipping sauces. We also ordered a few curries and had plenty to take ‘home’ with us for tomorrow. When other members of the group ordered naan, the servers all reminded me that the naan is not GF. According to Karthik, roti can be prepared GF but we already had more than enough food!
Thanks to Kathik’s excellent customer service and this restaurant’s delicious food, we had one of the best meals of our vacation in Thailand.
