I love this place. The staff is super knowledgeable about cross contamination. They have a separate gluten free fryer. Large variety of actual vegetables to choose as sides, not just starches.

I was THRILLED to see gf fried fish on the menu. My favorite. The menu also added hush puppies but on further questioning, I learned that the hush puppies were NOT GF. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, the dedicated fryer was “down.” Alas, the shrimp and grits were delicious but I would have preferred fried fish.

On the main menu there are GF items clearly listed and they fry in a separate oil so there is no cross contamination.
We went here last night. They were so careful. Almost everything on the menu is or can be made gf. My daughter was able to get fried shrimp and French fries. They bring a salad out for the table and our waitress brought the croutons in a separate bowl.

Great options love the fried green tomatoes! They even made a gluten free Margarita. This place is on the regular visit list.
Dedicated gluten free fryers = fried catfish! What more can you say.
Yes
I would go here just for the GF Catfish Poppers appetizer ( dipped in Corn Meal). Had a dedicated fryer. Great Strip Steak (Certified Angus Beef). Got to go here if you miss breaded Catfish.
Amazing GF fried wings and catfish poppers! Staff was sort of clueless but the manager was very helpful. We also had great steak, burgers and salads.
I was sooo excited to have fried calamari and fried shrimp. Left rather disappointed. I ordered GF Calamari fingers and GF fried shrimp. Apparently the fried shrimp entree comes with a salad. When it came out it had croutons. Salad was re-made with no problem but found it a bit disconcerting that the salad for a GF entree came out contaminated. Skip the calamari. Trust me. It's completely flavorless. Fortunately, the manager took it off the meal. The fried shrimp was okay...had a mild shrimp flavor and at least a little salt in the breading (seemed to be cornmeal). The French fries were pretty good while they were still hot, but once they cooled down they were just ok. The coleslaw was nothing to write home about. If I lived here or vacationed here frequently I might go back for the fried shrimp from time to time, but only for lack of other options.
