I got extremely sick from this location twice and I will never go back. I was very disappointed. I had to be put on medicine for 6 months 4 times a day to repair my stomach from being glutened. I used to trust this place and love it but honestly I hope no one ever has to go through what I went through. Please think twice before eating here. I almost had to cancel my wedding from getting so sick. When I called and informed the managers they just offered a $25 gift card. They didn't seem sympathetic. I wrote three letters to the franchise and I received nothing back.
Knowledgeable staff and good selections. Saucy shrimp was awesome!

I have had lots of good experiences here. I get the Lilly's Chicken and the macadamia nut brownie- hands down best gluten free dessert EVER! As long as you tell your wait staff about your "allergy" they are really good! One of our favorite fancy dinners
The waitstaff is nice, but not trained very well. They will often disappear for long chunks of time and then forget half of what you asked for. The quality/taste/presentation of the food was poor at best, however, there were several gluten free options on a separate gf menu.
we almost didn't stop here bc of the two older reviews but glad we did so I'm adding my safe and delicious experience. our server (and i emphasized that i wasn't just on a 'diet') was very knowledgeable about cc and immediately alerted the cook line about my food. the manager came out while we were eating to be sure everything was to my liking. i would be confident earring here again. delicious!
I️ told my server I had celiac disease, was ordering a salad from the gluten free menu, and specifically stated the gluten-containing item that needed to be left off of my salad. My salad came with the item that contained gluten, and I️ didn’t notice until several bites in. The server was very apologetic, and had my salad remade. It was very good after the initial salad experience.
I ordered from the GF menu. My server, at first blush seemed knowledgeable. But sadly, it became clear that she was not. She did check with the head chef on several items. So, I ordered accordingly. Very unfortunately though, I was poisoned. I knew 20 minutes into the meal something was wrong. I just don't know how it happened as I only ate about 30% of my meal. I will NOT be going back. My meal: Appetizer - several edamame and a very little amount of their green tea sea salt Bonefish salad with Citrus Herb Vinaigrette Filet Mignon Garlic Mashed Potatoes - swapped out for Jasmine Rice Broccoli All labeled and confirmed as Gluten Free. Still I became very sick!
Had the tuna steak with mango salsa, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious! The chef cooked it perfect for me! Crème brûlée was fantastic also! Server was super nice and very accommodating to my needs! Tuna steak wasn't on the GF menu but they made it for me. Thanks so much! Will be back when I'm in town.😋
SECOND REVIEW: I am now updating my review from 1 Star to 5 Stars. I returned to the restaurant and was greeted by the same manager from my last visit. He remembered our last conversation and was appreciative that I returned. CB, the manager, and the staff gave me the upmost confidence that my food would be safe going forward. It was a wonderful meal and my trust is restored. This is one of the few times, that talking to the management made a difference in the oversight of the kitchen. I recommend this Bonefish Grill in McCandless, PA. FIRST REVIEW: The servers and managers talk a good game about GF safety. The kitchen is another story. The broccoli arrived with bits of pasta on it. They cook the broccoli in the pasta water. It makes me angry to think about how I've ordered broccoli every time I've dined at Bonefish Grill. GF safety talk is cheap when the kitchen isn't trained.
had dinner here with my mom. ordered a salad off the gluten free menu, my mom ordered the same salad regular. they did not make mine gluten free and did seem to care about the mistake. the manager tried to tell me that there was confusion about the ingredient being gluten free...even when they stated on the menu it was prepared without it!
I have celiac and I got glutened here. I ordered from the GF menu, had the sweet potato mash, green beans and 6oz filet. I got so very sick. The food was absolutely terrible as well, the steak was inedibly tough and sinewy. We were there right before closing time so we figured that was why it was so bad.
One if my all-time favorite places to eat where I don't get sick from something. love their happy hour and their Sunday brunch options!
I always wait a day or two before writing a review. We went on Tuesday. Waitress was knowledgeable and answered my cross contamination concerns. I was told GF food is prepared separately and the kitchen staff changes gloves and uses new utensils and pans. Great meal!! Definitely recommend!
This was WONDERFUL!! Had steak, lobster, shrimp and flourless brownie. No reactions. I called and asked the usual safety questions for my severely celiac kiddo. They have a system that alerts all staff of "allergies" so that protocols for changing gloves and cook ware are followed. The host had the very best answers for my safety questions...and everyone understood Celiac precautions.
We've been a couple times. This last time my chicken was raw and I sent it back. They delivered my same plate back to me 5 minutes later. It was so quick I asked about cross contamination and they had no idea it was for someone with celiac. It didn't look any more cooked than when I first got it.
