A decent sized gluten free menu, understanding staff. Eaten here many times and never once had a reaction
Gluten free menu is boring, basically fish with no seasonings or flavor. Not my choice when eating out gf.
The waiter I had didn’t know what celiacs is, but another waiter assured me that they mark gluten free dishes in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. They have a pretty good menu selection. I had the sirloin steak, but my mom had the scallops and shrimp and I would definitely recommend that.
Although the restaurant was not busy and the server seemed conscientious, somehow I got a salad with a hidden crouton. Nice GIF menu but it didn’t work out for me. The manager and server were highly apologetic, waiving the cost of my entrée in their concern. I use a laminated celiac diet card that I put out near my drink in every restaurant I visit so there is never any doubt who the celiac meal is intended for. It has saved me from serving mistakes in the past, but it can’t compensate for a cook that doesn’t take food allergies seriously.
Their happy hour menu has nothing safe on it. They do not have a designated frier for fries. However they made me sauteed shrimp with bang bang sauce as a substitution for the happy hour price. They have a separate gluten free menu, just ask!
While they offer a gluten free menu and most of the ingredients would seem naturally gluten free, cross contamination here is a major concern. I ordered the Baja striped bass with mango salsa, jasmine rice, and steamed asparagus while being sure to notify the waitstaff of being celiac with gluten intolerance. Nima sensor tested each part and gluten was detected. They were accommodating after I communicated the gluten detection but only felt safe ordering a garden salad, which isn’t worth the money. Their menu does state they can’t guarantee safety. Despite their kindness I won’t be returning because it doesn’t feel safe.
Great experience. Gluten free menu was amazing. I’m not accustomed to so many options so I was pleased. The wait staff was awesome and made sure to write a huge “GLUTEN FREE” note on our ticket. I definitely felt secure. They also have dessert options which is great. Again not accustomed to that. Great experience.
Be careful dining here. They have a gluten free menu with select dishes. Explained that I was celiac & asked whether a dinner special was gluten free. Waiter asked manager, who said all but 1 ingredient was gluten free but dish could be modified. To my regret I ordered it & got glutened. Never had issues with other Bonefish Grill restaurants.
They have a GF menu with lots of options. I had the shrimp and scallops with mango salsa, rice and green beans and did not get sick! My mom ate there as well and she also is highly sensitive and did not get sick. Great service and very accommodating!

The staff was knowledgable and the food was amazing. The gluten free menu offered a nice selection. I had lobster and dynamite style shrimp, both were delicious and the lobster was perfectly cooked. The service was attentive and friendly.
I get plain filet mignon and whatever their potatoes and veggie option is that day (all plain, always). Last time I had some garlic on the broccoli. Never a gluten problem at this location as far as I know!
Absolutely wonderful!! Hostess server and manager all attentive to my questions concerns and food out of this world. I’m a veggie fan. They have fresh beautifully prepared. Sea bass divine Loved their house salad with plamnhearts kalamata olives fresh fresh greens so good
Excellent experience here! Great service, tasty food, and safe eating even for my sensitive Celiac husband. Their seasonal veggies and their asparagus are individually bagged, so we opted for those since they seemed safer. The waiter was really kind and really informative and patient with us, plus very knowledgeable. It's expensive food, but AMAZINGLY tasty food, and just a great time (especially when you're not getting sick). We took a gamble since the only review was negative but was SIX YEARS ago. As it turned out, we were fine!
I had never had a problem at any of the Bonefish Grill. After church we went there for brunch (done this before). I ordered off their GF menu. When my omelet came out there was bread on the plate. I explained that even having the toast on the plate would make me very sick & requested it be redone. No more than 2 minutes & they brought it back out. I was shocked at how quickly it was redone & was told they had another one almost ready. As I removed a cup of spinach from the plate, there were what appeared to be crumbs on the plate next to the omelet. My husband confirmed that they were as he could taste the crumbs. He immediately stated we were leaving. We did contact the management & Sean was very attentive to correcting the problem. Yes, because of Sean’s actions we will visit Bonefish again.
Questioned honesty about making a new plate. They seem very nice, there is a lot of options. My concern is I said I have a allergy and they still put bread on my plate. I explained that the bread even touching my food would make me sick. They took the plate back and came back with a "new" plate immediately. I could see the burn marks from the first omelette, it was the same one.
Asked if fish tacos would be gf without the shell and was told yes they would be gf. Asked them to confirm with kitchen and was told yes again. I got very sick from gluten exposure so they were clearly not educated.
I felt really comfortable eating here after my server told me that there are several steps that go into making sure they are safe with my food but I sadly became extremely sick after eating here. It was the first time I ate today too so it couldn't have been from anything else.
I eat here frequently. It was one of our staple restaurants before celiac and it still is now. Several options, from fish, steak, chicken and salads. Veggies for sides and mash. Good wine selection.
My mom took me here as my first meal out after being diagnosed with celiac disease. She did some research and found that they have a separate menu, a separate prep space, and more. The server was fantastic, the gluten free menu, while small, still had a decent amount of options (I was happy with it), and the gluten free brownie sundae was soooo good! I highly recommend!
2 stars for their knowledge from the manager we called ahead of time and waitstaff. GF menu and specific prep area/glove change instructions offered before we arrived. Reminded server of celiac disease and he understood and asked unprompted if he wanted the bang bang shrimp cooked in the GF environment or just GF friendly with cross contamination fryer. We specified must be GF because of celiac disease. Negative 2 stars because of the reality. Our son, on his 13th birthday, after a call ahead and reminders when we arrived, got severely glutened for the first time since his diagnosis. So he’s spending his birthday night in the bathroom and laying with a heating pad.
Our server was great, and assured me that the kitchen is well trained on how to cater to celiacs. I ordered the superfood salmon salad off of the gluten free menu, but unfortunately realized after several bites that they had put farrow in it. The manager was super apologetic, explaining that they (The kitchen/chef) didn’t realize farrow is wheat based. Celiacs, I think they can cater to us, but I recommend that you proceed with extreme questioning and caution about each ingredient to avoid being glutened like I was. Feeling pretty crappy now.
Gluten free menu is available. Fantastic food. I got the mussels and a delicious steak. I sometimes go here for special occasions bc it can be a bit pricey but the food is great and I have never gotten sick from it.
They had a decent selection of gluten free options which included a dessert. Our waitress seemed well versed in gluten options. The food was AMAZING and so was the service! The manager also checked on us. I would definitely recommend this place.
BEWARE! SEAFOOD IS NOT PREPARED CORRECTLY OR FRESH, YOU WILL BE GLUTENED! My husband and I ate here today. Our server was very attentive and friendly. However that was the only positive here. Both of us had shrimp that tasted off and were very rubbery. My scallops and muscles were both underdone. A good 5-6 of the muscles were not open. The scallops had a strange metal flavor and strange texture. I grew up on the water eating fresh seafood and I can tell you this is NOT GOOD QUALITY OR FRESH! Neither of us could finish our meals. Upon going home we both started to feel queasy. I'm now wishing that the overpriced meal would have included a to go bag of Pepto, TP, depends and some good air freshener. I DEFINITELY WAS GLUTENED AS WELL AS THE SEAFOOD MAKING ME ILL. I believe it was the muscles that had a sauce. I was told my meal would be GF and was told they are careful but clean they are not. Upon calling the manager I was told it wasn't food poisoning because it hadn't been long enough for symptoms to show. Well, I guess I'll wait for another few hours before I go to the ER. Thanks Bonefish, I needed to lose a few pounds anyway!
We went for a family celebration during dinner rush on a Friday-not my choice. I believe the kitchen staff did what they could, but cross contamination was just about inevitable. The manager was extremely kind, and offered to make it right next time. Despite getting sick, the food is good, and I would consider going back during a low volume time when I know proper care can be more easily given to my order. I think my ratings would be much higher if I could have gone during a slower time for the kitchen staff.
Dined here several times and ordered from the gluten free menu with no issues. Food is reliably good. Waitstaff and manager usually very reassuring about keeping my meal gluten free. Last time I was there the waiter said he had recently completed gluten free training and was happy I was there so he could put his training to use. Very nice to hear and he did a good job!
