I ate here. The waitress was very kind and nice. The food is safe for us but I didn’t like it. Too much garlic everywhere.

Must be called Bonkers because how much they charge for lower quality food. Took my whole family and my sister’s family there, half of us celiac. Spent a fortune and a few of us ended up sick the rest of the night. What is even more of a bummer is that I respect and appreciate restaurants who really try to provide gluten free options. I gave an extra star because the staff was really nice, I just really was not impressed with the food at all and wished we had gone elsewhere when the stomach pains hit.

There were a lot of options, most of the menu was marked as GF. They had GF pasta to make most of their dishes with. I had the chicken piccata and GF pasta with marinara sauce and GF garlic bread and my GF daughter (we both have celiac) had the GF pasta with the meat sauce and GF garlic bread. It was all ok, in regards to the taste, not my favorite but also not bad. I did feel like everything was over priced but with limited GF options in town I was happy. Unfortunately, I found a gluten noodle at the very bottom of my daughter’s bowl, I suspect it was dropped in the sauce previously and went unnoticed but mistakes happen and I didn’t complain. I did get very sick later that night so I won’t be eating there again. I was disappointed to have my food options limited farther and lost hours of sleep before an early morning and full day on the lake.

No idea if GF friendly. It’s Mid Sept and we tried going here while traveling to through Page but sign outside says closed till March. I guess if I had the premium version I could have avoided waisting my time.
Most options on menu are GF. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Garlic bread was definitely a treat. Plenty of pasta option. Highly recommend.

We snuck in just before closing and had a great dinner. Our server was very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn’t have and made suggestions of substitutions.

GF options labeled on menu, the garlic bread appetizer was super tasty, and the garlic butter penne with shrimp was absolutely delicious as well. Felt safe eating here as staff took precautions to ensure my food was GF. Initially tried to order the white clam sauce pasta but the server said it was mistakingly marked as GF on the menu, so just be careful with that. But it seems like the servers are very knowledgeable here and I felt great after my meal!

Staff very knowledgeable about GF. Lots of good options on the menu. Definitely felt safe eating there. Was a little surprised that they didn’t have a single GF dessert on the big dessert cart when they seem to really cater to the GF crowd. That was a bummer. Overall though, good, safe option.

We really enjoyed the food here. They had several gluten free options. We had the pasta with garlic bread and I can say that it was a good portion and the garlic bread was very tasty. Nice drinks as well and the staff is extremely friendly.

AMAZING!! Best gluten free pasta I have ever had, and it was also dairy free since I can’t eat dairy either. I was surprised that they could make shrimp scampi pasta, since I was certain that would require dairy and / or gluten.

Fantastic restaurant. Staff was amazingly attentive to cleanliness. Food was fantastic. Staff was knowledgeable about GF options and all pasta was GF optional. Treated to an introduction to the chef/owner and the family story. Even got tips on a great nearby viewpoint that we returned to the next morning. Stayed healthy too!

Really nice Italian restaurant.
The staff is very well aware of celiac requirements.
Most of the menu is also available as glutenfree option. When the serve bread with the pasta, they also provide glutenfree bread for the glutenfree option.
This was by far the best italian restaurant we visited in the US.

We really enjoyed our meal at Bonkers. Outside it looks a bit like a box, but when you are inside you see nice landscape murals. Our waitress, Kathy, was knowledgeable and was able to tell me what I could choose. They have a delicious gf bruschetta for starter that even my partner loved who doesn't have to eat gf and portion wise it was a good size to share anyway. As main I had rice pilaf with salmon with a lot of garlic, tasted lovely as well. They do have gf pasta, so there's lots of choices of the menu that you can eat gf. For desert we shared the gluten-free chocolate ganache with a scoop of ice. It was delicious. I would recommend this place to any friend.

Bonkers had a very safe environment and a suprisingly large variety for safe, gluten free food! Coming from a celiac, it is super refreshing to see multiple options for appetizers, pastas, entrees, and deserts. The restraurant itself was picturesque and fancier than the name implied. The food itself was spectacular and delicious, make sure to try their homemade lemonade!

Lots of gf options clearly labeled on the menu. They even have gluten free garlic bread and bruschetta! Very mindful of cross contamination (separate utensils, pots for pasta, etc.). Their lemonades are also incredible, they have six or seven different flavors made fresh each day. My celiac brother had no issues. Highly recommend!

Food was good. Didn’t have a problem. Staff new things and were helpful. I had pasta with chicken and it was great. The nice thing is that they do not up charge gf. And they had gf garlic bread.
Yes
Very good choice. Menu is clearly marked GF. They have a chef onsite, and waitstaff knowledgeable. They even offer GF garlic bread.
Yes
GF selections clearly marked. Staff was knowledgeable. Good food.

Good GF options. More choices than other places in the area. My son had GF pasta with cheese (to make a mac-n-cheese) and my daughter had a burger with GF toast. Others in our party had chicken marsala and said it was very good.
Celiac daughter had no reaction! We really appreciate the extra care taken to provide her a safe meal! Just make sure you're clear it's a serious "allergy"/celiac disease.
Yes
Lots of options. Had Catharine as our waitress and she was patient and check with the chef cook about all questions. Would definitely come back.
Yes
My food was delicious. My husband had regular chicken fettuccine and the chicken was hard. He sent it back and it still wasn’t good. They have lots of gluten free.
Yes
This restaurant was very accommodating for celiac and gluten free. They knew about cross contamination and made sure everything that we ordered was alright. They were very knowledgeable and even had separate gluten free garlic bread! They also knew which pasta sauces were gf. I ordered gluten free pasta and garlic bread. My friend ordered the chicken Marsala as gluten free. They also can make many of the salads gluten free. Lastly, they have gluten free bread for sandwiches. We recommend this place if you are in the area.
Yes
The chef/owner has a celiac friend so she understands gluten free. We ate here three nights and took a chicken spinach salad to go for lunch the next day. The first night I ate the ribs and my husband and I loved them. The second night I had the chicken marsala. Great, friendly staff. They are open from the first Tuesday in March through the third Saturday in October. I am celiac and I highly recommend it.
Yes
Excellent restaurant that really gets gluten free. They had gf garlic bread, multiple entree options and gf dessert. Delicious.
Yes
Great selection of gluten free dishes and the food is very good!
Excellent! We visited Lake Powell and drove in to town to eat. The GF chicken parm was delicious!
Yes
The friendly staff has a clear knowledge of gluten sensitivity and procedures to prevent cross contamination.
The menu has more than just a few items for varied pallets. They use sliced GF bread for burgers, garlic bread, etc. The spinach and artichoke dip is tasty, my Celiac and GI kiddos were happy with the many choices and loved what they got (butter penne off kids menu and chicken sandwich).
In summer the town is super busy so you might want to call ahead. The manager, who knew our diet restrictions, checked on us which is always nice.
Yes
Friday night we waited for 40 minutes. They ran out of chicken so I ordered the Ribs that were very tasty. They have gluten free penne pasta that's just ok. No desserts thought.
They close at the end of October for the season.
Yes
We ate at Bonkers twice during our trip. The first night I ordered a burger, but did not get a bun, just the meat and some salade, I had to pay extra for one patatoe, beacause fries were not gluten-free, all together it was quite disappointing. The second night I ordered a pasta (and actually did get the pasta with it), which was nice, gluten-free, but not really special.
Yes
Service was...bonkers. The only thing that came out correctly as we had ordered it was the artichoke dip appetizer and the fact that my pasta was gluten free. We weren't even 100% confident it WAS gluten free because everything came out wrong. They were very busy but the food tasted good. It just wasn't quite what we ordered!
Bonkers in Page, AZ had a very extensive gluten free menu. I ate here with my family when on vacation to the Glen Canyon. I was impressed by the staff's knowlede and accommodations. I ordered gluten free pasta with chicken. It was tasty, and most importantly I did not get sick (I have Celiac Disease). They do have a gluten free cake too; however, it looks like a cake I buy at Ikea.
