Review of Bouillon République

I was really excited to try this place, as it has classic, affordable, French food. The allergens of all menu items are listed on the website so I was hopeful! When I told the waiter I was gluten free he recommended that I have the ravioli and then the chicken noodle soup… Since he clearly didn’t know what gluten was I decided it was safest to go with a salad. I made sure to tell him that I didn’t want any bread or croutons with it for extra precaution. However when my salad arrived it had a large piece of toast on top! It probably would have helped if my French was better, but this place is fast paced and not at all good for those with celiac. Try somewhere else!
