Review of Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen

There is no GF menu, but our wonderful waitress had some knowledge about it, but checked with the chef on what was ok. Of course no bread, or breaded items, or Etouffee and Gumbo.BUT, all seafood is naturally GF. Check on the different sauces, make sure they're not thickened with a roux, like true Gumbo and Etouffee are. I had the Egg Plant Bayous:Eggplant stuffed with scallops and shrimp in a creamy saffron sauce.The eggplant was grilled to accommodate, since it is normally breaded and fried.I absolutely loved it! Shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked, saffron cream sauce was awesome in texture and flavor.I believe it was served on dirty rice, and I got a side of boudin sausage.ALWAYS check to make sure what is safe for us to eat.
