Amazing food. Mediterranean chipotle style. I told them I had a gluten allergy and without me having to ask the worker washed his hands and changed gloves and got separate clean utensils to serve my food. He made sure that my non gf friends went before me so he could change everything fresh for me after. I got the salad bowl (chopped salad greens and rice mix) and he made a fresh lettuce/salad for my bowl to avoid cross contamination. Everything is gluten free except the pita bread, pita chips, and cookies. He made sure that he was the one to assemble my bowl the whole way. I didn’t get the French fries so I’m not sure if they’re gf but they looked amazing.
Ask when you first start in line to have everything made gluten free. They will change their gloves and use separate batches of a lot of items to avoid cross contact. We have eaten here many times with no celiac symptoms.
Also good for soy free. Ask for the allergen menu or find it online.
The worker was very knowledgeable as soon as I said “gluten allergy.” Immediately washed hands and put on clean gloves. Got things from fresh containers, as well as used fresh utensils for everything. Everything but the cookies and pita & pita chips is noted as GF on their website allergen menu.
Employees were not careful about cross contamination at all. The person at the front of the line was spreading hummus or baba ganoush directly against the pita bread and then put the spoon right back into the hummus or baba. I didn't want to trust eating there after seeing that but I was stuck getting something there because I wouldn't have time to eat anything for dinner otherwise. I got a chicken salad bowl and skipped the hummus and baba ganoush since I saw it contaminated with gluten. There must have been some more cross contamination farther down the line because I got sick from glutening. Tasted good and ingredients were all technically gluten free in what I got but not celiac safe or safe for those with sensitivity to cross contamination.
