Okay, literally the best vegan and gluten free food I’ve ever had! I’m not much of a dining influencer, but I’m literally reviewing this restaurant on Instagram purely because people should come to Cayman JUST for the angus beet burger with scotch bonnet sauce! I’m adhd & autistic, so texture of food can sometimes get me, but nearly everything was that perfect consistency balance of “I need new stimuli” and not being “no. Not like that.” It was perfect. The angus beet patty was a little on the soft side, texture-wise, but it wasn’t mushy or mixed texture, so it was just fine!
Their fruit tarts—oh. My. God. I wanted to cry they were so perfect. I usually can’t stand gluten free pastries, because they feel so sandy, yet thick. It’s like eating loam soil normally, but this wasn’t like that AT. ALL. It was like a normal pastry. I’ve missed good fruit tarts so much since my diagnosis, and I was so excited I got TWO!
1,000,000,00/10, going to be eating here again, and I want more fruit tarts. No reaction even an hour after eating here, and the staff was so understanding and helpful. Loved all of it. Plus, the price for what you’re getting is no different than literally any other Cayman restaurant. I legit thought it would be like vegan places in the States (which I usually loathe going to), where I’m getting a tiny portion of food for more than I would get at any other restaurant. Nope. Including my mocha, $10 tip, and their 15% dine-in gratuity? $42.4. Literally the best food I’ve ever had. I’m so happy I came, I nearly didn’t.
