Informed the staff that I was a celiac. She recommended the french toast as the only safe item on the menu for a sensitive celiac. When the french toast arrived I found an olive embedded in the bread. I alerted the waitress that the food was cross contaminated and I would not be able to eat it. The response was "ok" and she removed the plate. No further action was taken to try to save a customer. No visit from manager. No apology. Bummer. Boyfriend, who is not a celiac enjoyed his waffle.
