Overall, if you’re celiac I’d recommend finding another resort to stay at. While several of the restaurant menus noted gf items, there was a lot of confusion among staff on what was/wasn’t gf. While Breathless isn’t a resort one chooses for the food (likely for a fun time and proximity to the marina), the quality of food overall was lacking. That said, if you really want/need to stay here, it’s not impossible to make it through your stay navigating gf options. A couple things to note: 1) Do NOT eat any of the buffet options at Spoon or during the different events the hotel has. The food tags don’t list allergens and the staff is unaware of ingredients. 2) Ensure to make it known at each restaurant you go to note you want whatever the item is to be gf, even if it’s already marked on the menu. Chips are NOT gf due to shared fryer. 3) Options are limited at most spots. Best options are: Steak tacos (Bites), Gf Pasta (Italian spot, Shwarama w/o pita but on top of salad and koftas (Kabbeh), breakfast at Bites is pretty straightforward. 4) I’d caution eating late night room service as there was cross contamination. Best of luck if you do go, but if you’re able to stay somewhere else, it’d save some gf anxiety on your vacation.
