I can’t speak to the food or its safety. Despite politely waiting to be seated, we never were. Everyone who came after us was seated but we were kept being asked to wait further and further away each time we asked to be seated. I’ve been to Paris over a dozen times in less than a decade. Have never been treated so poorly. They were not friendly here.
We ate here but at a different location last time so I was excited to try it again & it did not disappoint! Just to clarify before you go, you cannot order a crepe, but you can order a buckwheat galette & any of the crepes on the menu can be substituted for the galette to make it gf. We ordered a few savory & dessert & liked each one!
Asked a waiter if they were able to make anything gluten free safe for celiac and he said they had cross contamination and nothing was safe for celiac. Very disappointed as I had researched ahead on this app and thought I had a place, had to go to a mini grocery and eat deli meat instead.
The best galettes I’ve ever eaten!! My (gluten eating) friends and I went and everyone was incredibly happy with their food. While the place isn’t 100% gluten free, most of their menu is gluten free (as the thing to get there is the galette). I have severe celiac disease, and even go into anaphylactic shock depending on the severity of the gluten exposure. I didn’t even get a cramp. definitely go try it out!
Had a galette of the day, Fantastic salmon with asparagus. Well marked menu what is gluten free (sg in france). Delicious
Not dedicated GF, but they do have a separate kitchen area for the savory buckwheat galette crepes. All ingredients are kept separate from the sweet crepes which are not GF. We did takeout, but there was seating. While we waited for our traditional buckwheat galettes, we could watch them being prepared and could see the separate stations for the buckwheat vs sweet crepes. So delicious with egg and ham. Definitely recommend. Pretty sure the other locations are similarly set up in the kitchen and should be equally safe for Celiac.
