Previous worker, DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC DISEASE. They have gluten FREINDLY options at the bakery and really all of their menu items that are marked gluten free should be changed to be gluten friendly as well. If you just have an intolerance you could eat here but if you have a serious allergy of any sort STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.
I am so tired of reviews of restaurants that have few or no GF offerings but if you “go in and talk to them and you get the right person…”. In the age of COVID, people with Celiac (autoimmune!) disease need to be able to order online. There is no GF menu here… 2 options are marked: Plant-based Hash and Almond Chicken Salad. NO mention of GFA or even GF toast or bread.
This was my first time staying in Columbus and while out on the town, I met Lisa and Lindsey who informed me that they owned this place. When I mentioned that I was Celiac, they said Brekkie Shack accommodates gluten-free and ensure that cross-contamination chances are reduced. Upon my arrival, I spoke with the staff, who ensured that the kitchen staff would take proper precautions. The menu has several dishes and sides that are marked gluten-free, but other items can be modified to be gluten-free. The ambiance is wonderful and the food did not disappoint. So delicious! If you're in the area, this is a great treasure with a staff that is willing to help you feel comfortable. Highly recommend!
