Highly recommend sitting at the bar when you go! Although the menu is not marked, the staff are very knowledgeable about what can be modified on the menu and take the allergy seriously.
I have been a handful of times and have had no reactions and I am a symptomatic celiac.
I suggest the octopus appetizer and the gnocchi for an entree. When sitting at the bar, they have been willing to replace other pasta with the gnocchi for more options. When sitting upstairs they weren’t willing to switch out the pastas.
Delicious gluten free pasta and appetizers! Waiter was knowledgeable about which dishes could be modified and which could not. Was not asked about cross contamination, but did not have a reaction, so I take that to mean that there are some kinda of safety measures in place.
Ordered the gf gnocchi! Seriously, when was the last time you had gnocchi! It was fantastic. So was the Gelato! Staff VERY contentious regarding the gluten. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT BRICCO'S except, GO!!!
The staff took my allergy request seriously. The waitress told me what I could and couldn’t substitute and what some other celiac customers enjoyed. You can have gluten free pasta with any of their sauces. I am always hesitant to go to an Italian restaurant for fear of cross contamination but figured I also can’t live in fear. I decided to order to gnocchi with the meat sauce and mushrooms (fresh). It was delicious and I had no symptoms afterwards. I am very sensitive and generally know if there is an issue within 20-30 min. No problem here. They cooked it in a different pan and a different waiter brought me my dish. Would definitely go back.
