I have eaten at Brits fish and chips for years. My partner has Celiacs Disease and Brits has a dedicated fryer for Gluten free food to prevent cross contamination. The food is excellent and you won't find a better place for British Fish and chips in town.

More then disappointed ! Order for delivery and got a wrong items. Items which were marked gluten free were for sure not !

Ate there before a lot, but will not go back. Food was complete cold as well.

They can make any fried foods gluten free. There were some cool things we didn’t try, like deep fried dill pickles, mushrooms, and olives. We ordered some cod, haddock, fries, and onion rings. The batter doesn’t have much flavour; it wasn’t bad on the fish but the onion rings were completely flavourless. The batter was very greasy to the touch as well. All in all it wasn’t horrible, but nothing I’d crave. The tartar sauce definitely needed to be stronger as well.

Have eaten here numerous times and my wife was always fine afterward. Great food and service. They really understand allergies and cross contamination. Will definitely be back often.

We ate here often. My British partner says its the best he's found yet.

Could make most everything gluten free, had gluten free deep fried pickles which was a treat. The gf batter didn’t have any seasoning, however. Have had gf fish & chips in Ireland and Scotland so comparison wise not the best, however, is a good option for those wanting fish & chips. Would recommend highly for other celiacs.

I eat from here regularly because food is always excellent and their gluten free safety is outstanding. The tartar sauce is to DIE for! The breading on the fish is so nice and crispy! The fries are excellent.

I love going here is I’m Craving so deep fry food but sadly it’s not as good heating it up again it doesn’t taste the same at all

Brit’s does indeed have a dedicated fryer and kitchen area for the gluten-free food prep. Fish (cod) was delicious and fries were just ok. Friends with me had deep- fried mushrooms and haddock (regular not gf) and both were pleased as well. Highly recommend.

Great place for delicious gluten free fish and chips. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and are very careful about cross contamination. You can get pretty much everything in the gluten free batter even onion rings!!
