Great experience! will admit I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst when we walked in, but I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back. The diner was packed with a line of people waiting, which is a great sign that the food is good, but does not always bode well for attention to detail for food allergies. There is a small GF menu within the full menu. I ordered the GF pancakes, stated I had an allergy, and when the person taking our order confirmed an allergy, I added that I had celiac. When the pancakes arrived, the server told me the griddle had been cleaned prior to making my pancakes. They were delicious and I did not get sick.

Update March 2024. Had the gluten free pancakes with bacon and was sick within an hour. My guess is that they didn't clean the griddle. Definitely cross contamination. I know we roll the dice everytime we dine out but it will be a while before I even think of returning, if I ever do.

I had their gluten free pancakes and they were excellent. They also cleaned the grill to make me home fries and they were great too. The staff was very knowledgeable. I am super sensitive and no reaction. Will definitely be returning!

Server was not trained to serve guests with Celiac Disease. I told the server I had Celiac and asked him make sure everything was gluten free. He then asked what type of bread I wanted on my sandwich. Bread came out toasted and sandwich was covered by a pile of French fries, which aren't marked as gluten free. I didn't eat due to potential cross contact with gluten.

I have celiac disease. Ate here twice: french fries first time, pizza second time. Got sick both times despite the waiters assuring me that the food was gluten free and made in a separate kitchen space. Literally had to go to the restroom to throw up.

I usually do gf pancakes and a side of poached eggs. I let them know and they say they will try but I haven’t had an issue. I’m not celiac, I’m low fodmap. I haven’t had any other food but good for a local breakfast since there’s so few options in lower Westchester.

Great find! We ate here twice and two of us who have Celiac didn’t have any reaction. Cool ‘50s style diner right in the center of Bronxville near the train station. GF options include pancakes (some of the best we’ve had) and various sandwiches and dinners. There is a listing of GF options at the back of the menu. We’ll definitely return! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful!

Staff is so nice and the restaurant is a cute 50’s style diner! They are partners with Udi’s. Waitress knew home fries were not gluten free. They have lots of options though. Will definitely be returning.
