Gluten Free pizza is offered on the menu, but when I asked if it would CC safe the waitress asked the kitchen and was told no because it would be prepared in the pizza area where the flour was. So I decided to try a salad which I was told could be made safely. My daughters are gluten free for sensitivity reasons but not diagnosed celiac just intolerant. I ordered them a GF pizza. When our food arrived our kids were at a separate table I asked my oldest daughter if the pizza was in fact Gluten free because it looked much larger than the one she mentioned they would be getting. But she assured me the waitress said it was. After about 15 mins my oldest daughter came over to my table and said mom I don’t think this pizza is gluten free it doesn’t taste right. My youngest who has the worst reaction had already eaten 3 pieces at this point. When the waitress returned I asked her and she confirmed it in fact was not Gluten free. She apologized. And said I’m not sure what to do. 😞 I can’t say I will return here sadly. Noe I will have some sick girls over the next few days and this is a lesson learned for me to triple check my kids order for them. I almost always do. But this time I failed. The waitress was so careful with my food I trusted she was careful with their order as well.
