I hate to leave this review. I have had many good experiences here. Today, I went in after I hadn't been in for months. I asked which sandwiches could be made GF. The server said all of them. I said, wow, really, they all have GF ingredients? And she said, oh, wait. I see what you mean. Really?? Talked to the chef, who said that every single sandwich had gluten ingredients. A couple could be made without sauces. What's the point? I asked about the salads. Again, some could be made without dressing. Basically, what I got from the chef was that there was nothing on the menu that could be made GF with any flavor. I'm confused about this because I've been in many times and his wife has always been so kind. I've even ordered specific sandwiches in the past that today they said had gluten. Overall, I just felt very unwelcome, like I should be happy to eat some plain chicken on GF bread. I get it, everyone is sick of GF folks. But you know, for those of us with celiac, it's really important that chefs and servers know what they're talking about. And don't offer GF bread if your sandwich makings are full of gluten!!!! What's the point?
