I ordered the gluten free grilled cheese and was assured of no cross contamination. I used a Nima gluten sensor that detected gluten on the food. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time we ordered.

Yum. Went at busy lunch hour and was a little worried it would be safe while being so busy but it was delicious and I did not get sick! Would definitely go back.

Great gluten free options! Wishing they had a little more dairy free side options, but enjoyed the duck sandwich with gf bread and vegan cheese

Most of the menu is gluten free. They use Udis bread and Boars Head meats and make their other meats in house. They do not make own potato salads so advised against ordering & packaged chips aren’t GF so sides were limited. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese & it was yummy!

Nice hotdog/sandwich shop. They say that can make most sandwiches GF. . I have the French Dip and chips. It was very busy during lunch so had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. It’s a small establishment. I would come again.

It’s a small, kind of hole in the wall place so be prepared to wait for a table or take it to go. It’s worth it though. They can put any sandwich on gluten free bread and you can see them making your sandwich for anyone that feels unsure. They also have salads and other options. Not sure if their sides are gluten free as I did not ask but some obviously are not (like pasta salad). I had the Pig N Fig sandwich and my husband had the short rib grilled cheese (both hot sandwiches on gluten free bread). Both were delicious! Favorite was the short rib grilled cheese. Did not get sick and will go back again!

GF bread option. We ordered the pulled pork with fig jelly minus cheese and it was delicious. Also got a green goddess wrap on GF bread--Good as well. Not sure how allergy friendly the kitchen is so if you need to be seriously careful I would inquire.

I wondered how good this place could really be after reading these reviews. I waited in a long line and couldn't grab a seat, but goodness that was the best sandwich I've EVER had. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and it was absolutely phenomenal! Totally worth the wait!

Very delicious and friendly! Open air dining was enjoyable. I ordered the apple "butter" jean sandwich on the gluten free bread and was extremely pleased. They used Udi's thick-sliced bread for their sandwiches. The flavors were great . I highly recommend this place!

We sat down before "regular" customers who were served before us because the staff was making our food safely. I was very impressed with the staff and quality of my meal. Dining with celiac is always so scary, but the staff made me feel comfortable. I'm glad they took their time to make my food the right way, even though they were busy. Separate facilities are used, and the cook staff wash their hands and change their gloves when handling gluten free meals. Thank you, Brown Dog! I will definitely be back.

I had the best sandwich of my life here! They were also very accommodating to my son with celiac. They happily told him they would carefully clean the grill before cooking his sandwich and would make sure no cross contamination occurred. We will definitely return.

this place touted gluten free and while the selection for gluten free was excellent they did not deliver, was sick for 2 days after on my vacation due to not being gluten free as promised. food was very expensive, $12 for chips, sandwich with udis bread and a fountain drink and it took 45 minutes to get it(and i ordered it to go).

When I asked for a gluten free menu (per the description on here), the waitress said, "uh we have gluten free bread." My confidence was further deflated when I got a blank stare after I asked for the Jamaican chicken wrap to be deconstructed, without cheese and on a plate. We made it through ordering, I received the food as requested and had no reaction.
