Brown Dog Ice Cream

Every time we’re in Cape Charles My Family and I always have to go to The Brown Dog.. Vanilla seems to be a safe bet and I haven’t had any issues.

— Excellent

New owners, no longer marking GF flavors on the menu. The server was knowledgeable about which flavors were GF. Had Chino Bambino and it was good.

Explained our celiac and care was taken to get ice cream from ice cream containers that didn’t have previous gluten exposure.

The ice cream was excellent!

Ask about allergens and they will dig out their dedicated vanilla tub that hasn't shared a scoop with all the other flavors out front. Unfortunately it's the only flavor that's definitely not been cross-contaminated, but it does exist.
