Spoke to the waiter about options for gluten free, who went to get someone from the kitchen. They explained what I could eat from the menu and i discussed options with them. The waiter then took my order, marked on the order about making sure it was gluten free but reassured me that the chef knows all about it and is expecting my order. Once my meal came out we started to eat, when one of the waiters ran up the stairs to tell me the chef had put teriyaki sauce on my meal. I had already eaten half of my meal at this point. I don’t think the seriousness of the situation was understood by any member of staff in the establishment.
