Brown's Fish and Chips

Great gluten free options. I had a lovely fish chips and curry sauce but they had a gluten free menu. I also purchased my own bottle of gluten free vinegar 🙌 .

— Excellent

We looked for somewhere near Bournemouth and Poole to go for fish and chips (as when you’re at the seaside on a family holiday you just have to!) but it’s not so easy when you have two Gluten intolerant children. So I used this app and contacted a couple of other places (who for one reason or another couldn’t cater for us) until I called this one. They weren’t right on the beach front so we had to drive there but that was fine with us! They were friendly and knowledgeable about providing gluten free foods for which my children were able to choose from 4 options (from the kids menu). One had sausage and chips the other fish (goujons) and chips. They were both delicious. They told us that the gluten free foods were cooked in a separate fryer as were all chips they cooked too. Not super posh and reasonably priced. Happy customers! Open until 2pm and then re opens from 5pm (I can’t remember the other opening or closing times sorry).

Good GF menu available every day for fish, chips, even pies, all sorts. They sell gluten free vinegar on the counter though I didn’t ask if the one available to put on your chips is GF or not. Seperate worktop and fryer for the GF fish and they put it straight into a box with a GF sticker once cooked, they didn’t put it into the contaminated shared fryer

Really enjoyed this little restaurant. They were knowledgable about gluten free and let me know about their sauce ingredients when I told her I was a coeliac. Great quality food and good service.
