I read the reviews on FMGF before heading to this restaurant. Someone else stated that when asked about Gluten Free options, they were told that "the Gluten Free pasta had not shown up" and I got the exact same line on a completely different day. I was also told that the only thing that would be Gluten free would be dishes with rice, which left only risotto for me to eat. I also read in other reviews that the staff stated any dish could be make gluten free. I asked specifically about the crab cakes and was told that it cannot be gluten free in addition to only being able to eat dishes with rice. I agree with other reviewers and I will not be returning, there are so many other better options in the area. I also have a habit of actually looking at the menu for restaurants before I go to them so I can have a couple of options. Their menu was only really available if you started an order online, so I went ahead and took the annoying steps to finally get to their menu only to find out that everything I chose as options was not on the menu when I went to the restaurant in person to eat. I wonder what would have happened if I had gone through with ordering online?? Fail.
I was really excited to go here for some good gf pasta. Unfortunately, I was told that the gf pasta hadn't come in that day. I had the mushroom risotto instead, which was really good. I was told all sauces were gluten free so that's good to know! On top of the lack of gluten free pasta, we tried to pay with cash and they didn't have enough change to break a hundred. Had to put it on our credit card which was Kind of frustrating. Our food was good, but I think we just went in on an off day. Maybe next time we visit snoqualmie we will try again. We discovered later that there is ANOTHER Italian restaurant in town that offers gluten free pasta and dessert! Gianfranco Ristorante Italiano
I love this restaurant. All pasta dishes can be made GF, and every entree except lasagna can be made GF. Everything is fresh, made to order. First visit I had smoked salmon pasta with peas and creamy dill sauce. Second visit I had chicken parmesan. They fried the chicken using rice flour. Dessert was a dark chocolate ball filled with chocolate and vanilla gelato. Best dessert ever! They also do great with take out. Ambience is cozy and warm and staff is friendly and knowledgable. My favorite restaurant right now!
