Owners are very nice and informed of gluten free needs. I got the plain brisket with beans and coleslaw… however I did end up getting sick on the way home from the beach. I only packed my safe snacks so I don’t think it was anything else I’d eaten that caused my tummy issues. A little disappointed but I know from eating at restaurants I love and depend on, there’s always a chance of getting sick
Had low expectations that they even had any GF options. But they do! All the meat (brisket, pulled pork, chicken) was all gluten free! Just avoid the sauces. The baked beans and cole slaw was also GF! It was all amazing. Kuddos to owners Butch and Jean who believe celiacs needs great food too. They knew they stuff and are very intentional about their GF offerings and prep. Way to go. They hope to be open at least until Oct. Go support them!
