Friendly and Gluten friendly. Read menu carefully for instance meat platters come with side of Texas toast or cornbread. Still easy easy to have a delicious and celiac safe meal.
Main menu is clearly marked (most entrees and sides are GF) and I let the waitress know I was celiac and she said they would change gloves and utensils. Wonderful safe meal!!!

Always get it to go cup no ice you never know if his hands have touch gluten and then touch the scooper in the ice.

We ate lunch here yesterday, it was delicious. I really appreciated how many menu items were marked GF. My kids and I chose the pulled pork tacos and skillet-fried potatoes, with strawberry and chocolate ice cream for dessert. There were non-GF flavors, so I also appreciate that our waitress used a clean scoop for each and put the ice cream in a compostable cup. (Sadly, those cups were the only eco-friendly to-go containers. The rest were styrofoam.)

Gf options are well marked. There is not a dedicated fryer, but menu options that are cooked in the fryer are not marked as gluten free. So issues with cross contamination are reduced.
They have one BBQ sauce that's gluten free it's the sweet one 😋 I got the double loaded pulled pork baked potato but left off the sour cream and shredded cheese ( do to hidden gluten just incase ) They do take allergy precautions change gloves etc...and I'm extremely sensitive to Cross contamination after 11 years with Celiac I can't do any cross-contamination at all without having the symptoms. And I didn't have any problems with my experience here. And they have a variety of options ! Witch is great 👍🏻 when eating out I always ask for a to go cup and no ice do to ice being dipped out ya just never know who's hands have touched gluten then scoops.
Most of the menu is gluten free and is indicated on the menu. Only issue we had is one sauce was GF and one wasn't. But the host and server were both knowledgeable and helpful in clarifying the GF options. And it was excellent BBQ!
We have eaten here many, many times and my husband is celiac and hasn’t had any issues. Huge portions and delicious food!!

Well marked menu, server was careful to note allergy on our order. My husband and daughter shared an item and they sent the bread separately and were careful to avoid any cross contact.
Good food! The menu is clearly labeled. Most items are gf. I had the tacos and part of my sons loaded king ransom potato.
We were visiting Mammoth Cave and needed to eat nearby but we’re having problems finding a place. This seemed like the best option as bbq seems to be gluten free a lot of the time. No gluten free designations we’re available on the website. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find gluten free options clearly marked on the menu (most of the meat platters, a small number of side dishes). However, my wheat-allergic son wanted fries (not listed as gluten free) and asked about how the were cooked. The waitress stated the menu was wrong and that the fries were gluten free. However, I noted that there were other non-gluten free breaded items on the menu and clarified if there was a shared fryer (there is) and we avoided the fried foods. My son did not have any issues with his meal. Just pay attention to the menu to what is gluten free as servers may not understand. The food was better than I expected in Cave City but definitely not the best ever.
