I really like B&S and went to the Amherst location as a kid before being diagnosed with Celiac's. Yummy food, great kids quesadilla meal (my kids can eat gluten), fast service. It's not clear how well trained staff are about cross contamination. For example, I don't think they ever mark my order as GF or gluten allergy. I typically get the pork carnitas bowl (with cabbage slaw, yum) and have never gotten sick.

Food was gross, they promised gluten-free but I got sick. Don't eat here this place is the opposite of celiac friendly

I have been three times, sick every time. The first time they didn't tell me that they use the same tortilla press for flour and corn tortillas. The next two times I found out they didn't mention the marinade has wheat-based soy sauce. What next? I'm not going back.

I usually get a taco with a corn flour tortillas and chips. They are always great.

Okay for someone wanting to go on a gluten free kick/diet, but for those with Celiacs, this is not ideal. Lots of cross contamination observed, lack of changing gloves between handling the meat and flour tortillas, etc.

great food, possibly better than chipotle, love the burrito bowl with teriyaki sauce and the chips are good (even if there's wheat pictured on the paper bag I was assured they are corn chips) new favorite restaurant

The lady preparing food had to be told three times to change her gloves before handling my order. After changing them she picked up a flour tortilla. Also they heat the corn tacos on the same press they use for the flour tortillas. If you're really sensitive to gluten I would not suggest going here. I was a severely sick both times I've gone.

They were very friendly about my questions but I don't think they were very well informed. First I asked if they knew what was safe for someone who had a severe gluten and dairy intolerance and they did say they couldn't guarantee anything which was very honest. But then told me that the chicken and steak were safe. I asked if either had soy sauce in them and they said oh yeah in the marinade. So if you are actually celiac or have a high level sensitivity to gluten there's not much on the menu you can eat.

Bueno Y Sano is the BEST restaurant ever! The black bean and spinach tacos on corn tortillas are FAB-U-LOUS! With a location in Amhert, Noho , Springfield and soon to be West Springfield I know I'll always be able to satisfy a craving for Bueno's! BTW the Tomatillo sauce is divine. Think I'll go now....

Most of our menu is gluten free as long as you do not have a flour tortilla. You can order any burrito without a tortilla or with corn tortillas on the side. Try the East-West which is basically a stir fry with basmati rice or any combination that works for you.
