Totally separate GF Menu! Was super impressed with their options. Rest assured, waitress notified me of a separate prep space and cooking area for GF foods. I had the half rotisserie, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. So good!

Heads up to be extra careful if you're planning to eat at Buffalo Phil's in the Dells... I called and spoke directly with the chef before arriving and he assured me we'd be fine. Then, after waiting an hour for a table, we sat and I spoke with our server, who then spoke with the chef (who remembered my call) and again told us we'd be fine. The service was pretty terrible and slow (they weren't even very busy) and when my daughter's "gluten free burger that was cooked on a separate grill" came out looking a bit suspicious, I took it immediately and tasted the bun. It was your standard white Wonder bread bun so I kept it until he came back, asked if it was the gf bun and he said no and took it away. Luckily it was ME who tasted it and not her! While waiting nearly 15 minutes for him to come back after "talking to the chef" I went and had a bartender call a manager. The server eventually came back and said he couldn't find the chef 🙄 but he was having the kitchen make another safe gf burger on a separate grill. The manager arrived, listened to my situation, took the burger off the bill but never came back to check on us or see how the remake tasted. When it finally arrived (after most of our group was done eating), my daughter said the burger was pretty good (Udi bun) but the plain, unseasoned and unbuttered corn side was meh. We will never be going back there and I'd definitely tread carefully if you're planning on visiting.

They have rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. A nice alternative to GF burgers and pizzas.

We feel Buffalo Phil's has changed since the last time we were here in 2021. NO allergy menus, no sense of awareness for cc from our waitress, no offer of real care about gluten free items ... waitress said, "I mean, we have a gluten free bun and pizza." Said with a shrug. We manage multiple allergies and my son and I left our big party to eat at Culver's and then rejoin them. I would not recommend Buffalo Phil's for any type of allergy.

The GF Pizza was the best we had in many years. Have pineapple and Canadian bacon with extra cheese. Both GF members of our party did great with no issues. Had the brisket with a side of slaw. It was very good for roasted brisket, but I prefer a smoked BBQ style. Several other GF options On the entrees including half or whole rotisserie chicken, pulled pork, steaks. They have GF buns for burgers and sandwiches as well. We didn’t try those, but good GF variety.
The experience was fun and the new Lego cities were fun to see. Paid the 50 cents to run the Lego train and they tried to get it to work a few times, but it kept derailing. Still cool to see all the detail and not disappointed at all. It’s connected to knuckleheads entertainment arcade, etc.
Edit: Went back again and we got the burgers on GF buns. They were good but nothing special. The Pattie’s were preformed but cooked well. Would go back for them as well, but the pizza was definitely better.

Basic burger joint. Had gluten free buns and pizza crusts at least. Did not offer to separately cook our fries, so don’t know how celiac friendly it is. No other allergy friendly options. Ordered coleslaw which is usually made with mayo, ate half of it, only to find out it had milk in it. My bad…didn’t ask…hopefully don’t pay for that. Would be so nice if places marked their menus with allergy symbols.

This place used to have an entire GF menu. That is NOT the case anymore. They basically said all they know that's gf is their gf pizza crust and their gf bun. When I asked questions about their sauces and how they cook things they were unsure what would and wouldn't have gluten. I'm so disappointed because this is a tradition for us to come here every year and now I'm not sure we can continue that. 😔

Great meal. I had rotisserie chicken sandwich and it was fabulous.

They don’t understand cross contamination in the least. Shared fryer and shared cook surfaces. The server mislead me and I started eating the nachos only to find out the chips are fried in a shared fryer and the seasoning is not confirmed to be gluten free for the meat.
Gluten free menu is a total joke given the lack of care taken for prep.
Would NEVER recommend them. So disappointed and just waiting to feel awful now.

We've been here several times... in different seasons! We come for the snow skiing & summer boating seasons!
Usually my daughter has a gf burger & has success with the meal. Meaning she does not get sick. She gets broccoli with it because the fries are not made in a dedicated fryer!
The gf menu us amazing! Ask to see the actual gf menu! Many options from salsa & chips to rotisserie chicken!!
Food each time we go is good. The kids love that our food always comes on the train!

Had a great meal tonight Buffalo 🦬 Phil’s they have an extensive Gluten Free menu. Our oldest son claimed their pizza was made for God. It’s one of the best GF pizzas I’ve had. Rotisserie chicken, pulled pork, and their sauces were all amazing.

Great menu options for Gluten Free

They did have a gluten free menu, including a gluten free pizza, and I did not get sick. It was a fun environment as well - the train brings the food and drinks. However the food quality and taste was just so bad that I can’t give it more than two stars. Really sub par even for bar food.
The atmosphere was fun (kids loved the train!) and the service was great. However, if you have celiac disease this isn’t the place for you. My son got sick within an hour of eating. He had the gluten free pizza and a side salad without croutons.

My son and I had the pizza and it was huge and delicious! We’re both sensitive to cross contamination and neither of us got sick afterward. The kids loved the train also.
Yes
The chicken was good and so was the pulled pork. They had a separate menu for each allergy. They did not have to many options for side with a gluten and dairy allergy, which was a bummer. When they brought out my wine it had lipstick still on it and my burger was over cooked.
Yes
Ordered GF pizzas for carryout. The pizza sizes and toppings are awesome. Delicious pizza! No gluten issues detected after eating.
Great service and a train delivers your food. Their bbq pizza wad the best gluten free pizza I have ever had!!
Yes
My son is gluten and dairy intolerant. They had a menu for each. Our waiter was very helpful in telling us what he could and couldn't eat. My son also loved the food.
amazing burger bun
My wife is a celiac and got sick. We did order off the GF menu, but our waiter did not seem to have much knowledge of GF. That can be half the battle sometimes. Getting a helpful/knowledgeable waiter. It did state on the GF menu that there is not a separate cooking area for GF and they take no liability. As a non-celiac the food was good but my celiac wife would not go back. Too much cross contamination.
No
I had a buffalo burger gluten free bun and redskins mashed potatoes. delicious! I ate the whole burger. .
Yes
Awesome food!!! Their buffalo burger with gf bun was amazing! They let me substitute out the crispy onion straws for coleslaw on the burger. No dedicated fryer for the fries, however they have wonderful sides. I had smashed red baby potatoes. Kids LOVED the train bringing the food or driving by with toys on it. This is a great find!
I had gf pizza. It was the best pizza I have had since being diagnosed with celiac's. Sooo good! I wish I lived closer!
Server was clueless about gluten-free practices. Might be OK for non-celiac if you avoid the usual suspects. Food was mediocre.

Ask for the gluten free menu. Staff is informed, they also double check with the chef in the back.
