Burger One

I was hesitant to try the burgers here, but they have a gluten free bun, so I gave it a shot. I had no reaction and it was delicious! We went three times on our trip. The side salad was actually pretty good, had lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion. You do need to tell them no croutons.

We were concerned at not being able to feed our son who is celiac during our vacation to the Virgin Islands however Burger one knew all about gluten-free options and even had gluten-free buns for him. The owner was more than accommodating on talking about the menu and making sure that our son felt safe eating there, unfortunately the fries are not gluten-free. They did compensate with a great side salad which is healthier anyway. If you're on the island and need a Celiac safe place Burger one is definitely a great establishment.
