My partner and I came across this place on Find Me Gluten Free while looking for something different and gluten free for my birthday dinner. Burma Cafe is in an odd, kind of run down shopping center that is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Don't let the weird location put you off. The grape leaf salad was incredible. We liked it so much and asked so many questions about it that the very nice server gave sent us home with a few containers of the fried split peas that added such crunch to it! The fried tofu was also wonderful, as was the coconut and chicken soup. We shared all of those items (one soup can be split for two and it is quite a lot of soup). My entree was the garlic noodles with pork. The regular noodles were swapped for rice noodles to make the dish gluten free. It was wonderful. Michael had the Sriracha chicken, which was way too spicy for me but he thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice, the place was packed, and we really were very full and very happy! Portions are huge--be prepared to take some home with you if you go off the deep end with your ordering like we did!
