Opening a GF bodega as of May22nd, 2020. More reasons to visit this place!
Love this place! I hate beer but they have a delicious kool aid drink (alcoholic). I’ve also seen some people mentioning they don’t have food unless there’s a truck but that is incorrect. They serve pizza on days when there’s no food truck scheduled. The pizza is great! They have both Randy’s and Hedgies and they’ll cook it in their oven and bring it out to you. They also have weekly trivia on Saturdays which was super fun and tons of snacks. We just joined the beer club yesterday which gets you 15% off everything and a beer mug for the year. It’s $175 but you get 100 of that back on a gift card. Since we come so often it’s worth it. Great place, highly recommend!
I finally tasted a few GF beers for the first time in my life. They have a binder of the ingredients that are used for those who want/need to know that info. This allowed the staff to determine which brews had oats in them, an ingredient that I also need to avoid. They also have cans of non-alcoholic beverages like butterscotch root beer. It was really flavorful. We arrived after the GF food was being served. So we grabbed a bag of popcorn, and a bag of cheddar potato chips from the GF merchandise area. There is indoor seating year round, and outdoor patio seating in warmer months. The GF beers change by season. I look forward to coming back in the fall/winter to try out a stout!
I go here every few months and its always safe! Owned by a guy with celiac. I am admittedly not a beer person, so I usually get a seltzer or kombucha, which are good. There are usually food trucks there on weekends, and I've never had issues with them either. When there aren't food trucks you can order GF pizza, either of cauliflower crust or flour crust variety. I usually get two frozen ones to go.
They also have events like trivia, paint and sip, board games, etc. I am grateful this place exists and will continue to support!
We tried the Signature on Wheels food truck that they frequently have there. The chicken strips had a great beer batter, but were mixed in quality - some had good meat, some had weird chewy texture that was unpalatable. I always look forward to the chance to get fries from a safe frier, but was so disappointed - they were oversalted and incredibly floppy instead of crisp.
My husband thought the cheese curds were pretty good, but said the burger wasn't very good.
The food truck also looked pretty dirty inside, which made me feel weird about it.
Everything GF! I’m not a big beer drinker, but it’s nice to be able to taste along. We think the food trucks they invite are the GF ones, too. Excellent root beer ————- July 2023: my friend and I were sad they’re no longer offering their roit beer on tap. But we had a nice meal from the Signature on Wherls foodtruck (poutine, cheese curds, fried oreos)
This was my first time eating out since my Celiac diagnosis and I am very impressed! Delicious gluten free beers, plus a completely gluten free food truck (see their calendar for dates when the truck is there!). I felt extremely safe eating here and would absolutely come back!
All my friends who are not gluten free come here with me because the beer is that good! I never used to like fruity beers, but I like theirs. The staff is also very friendly, and even though I go like once a month or less some of them know me by name. Check out the beer club to save money if you are going to go regularly, and to support a great GF establishment. They’re calendar online lists the food trucks (food trucks that are not always GF can only serve GF food when at Burning Brothers), and other events. I’m so sad I don’t work nearby anymore, but still try to make it over as much as possible!
Great beer options! Small bodega with all GF goods. GF food trucks regularly available. They also have growlers and grumbles available.
Excellent brew! After years of being disappointed in most GF beer I finally found some great ones!
Great beer, many different varieties at any given time including regulars and seasonal. I especially like the roasted coffee ale and my wife, who is not generally a beer drinker, likes the Irish red ale. The beer is served by counter service and you can get sealed grumblers or growlers to go. They have a schedule for GF food trucks but it has been somewhat unreliable - best to call ahead to verify if scheduled food truck is there. Lots of outdoor space although not especially atmospheric. Crazy Puppy food truck was there the evening we visited - billed as all your state fair favorites but GF. Beer, warm outdoor evening and fried food = fun date night.
Great place!!! My wife is gluten free so that means I am too, sometimes. Finding a place we both love is tricky. We LOVE Burning Brothers. If you’re looking for a fun date night, or a place to meet friends - you won’t go wrong - they will love it as much as you.
Awesome place! I like the dry cidre. AuntieM’s food truck was outside. Everything was gf. Corn dog was better than a regular corn dog! I’m not gf, my husband and kids are, and I would choose this. Funnel cake was very good too! Next time I’m trying the onion rings and cheese curds.
