After seeing pictures of where they make their food, and how they store their ingredients on a review from one of their employees on Facebook and Yelp, I would never eat here. Things were very dirty and many items were stored with no lids. It looks like cross contamination would be a major issue here since basic cleaning isn't even done properly.

This is the review from Facebook:

UPDATE 10/26/2018 THEY PASSED HEALTH INSPECTION YESTERDAY. BUT I WILL POST THE REPORTS HERE. NOTE THE HEALTH INSPECTORS COMMENTS ON THE SECOND PAGE LOWER NOTES AREA.

I want to start by saying, I feel this post is VERY IMPORTANT to post. To me, and anyone reading and seeing this should be beyond concerned.

THE HEALTH DEPT WAS NOTIFIED.

I went in for a "trial shift" at THE BUTTERED BISCUIT in bonney lake this week. Let me say, I am currently a waitress at a very nice and clean establishment, but wanted a second job for extra hours on my days off. I applied at the buttered biscuit and got offered a trial shift to see how I'd do.

That day is the last day I will ever walk into that establishment. I would like to warn those with a weak stomach to maybe not look...or do so you see the condition the owner allows her restaurant to be run. -no date dots or exp dates on opened and prepped products. -dish soap and necessary cleaning supplies where not in sight or none existant. -dust caked shelves where CLEAN DISHES ARE STORED -prep tables and shelves with caked on food and sauce, dirt and dust. -overflowing grease trap in the dish room -the whole back smelled of rotten food and mold, I was gagging most the time I was there. -was asked why i wa cleaning the nastiness of the walls then told to stop, that i didnt have to. -cornbread left uncovered in trays low to the floor overnight. -bleach buckets left overnight to be used next day, even though water is filthy. -open spice and sauce containers with no lids collecting dust (was told not to throw away or owner would get mad...i threw them away anyway) -cooking and food utinsels stored in buckets on floor. -bags of flour and sugar left open and exposed on bottom shelves.

I feel i can go on...but the the pictures will be self explanatory.

TO ME THIS IS SOMEONES CONSCIOUS DECISION TO PUT PERSONAL PROFIT OVER PUBLIC HEALTH. ELDERLY GO IN AND GET SICK, KIDS, ANYONE, SOMEONE WHO MAY BE IMMUNO DEFICIANT AND CANT FIGHT OFF ILLNESS OR INFECTION WELL...THIS IS DISGRACEFUL AND DISGUSTING AND I COULD NOT SIT BY AND SEE WHAT I SAW AND NOT BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THIS AREA AND THEIR HEALTH AND EATING HERE, PERIOD!!!

Please PLEASE!! IF YOU IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM CARE ABOUT NOT GETTING SICK FROM EATING OUT. DONT GO HERE! I CANT GUARANTEE YOU WONT."

If I could give this more stars, I would! I was so thrilled with just how great this place was - I had sweet cream French toast and man was it good. I’m super sensitive and had zero reaction. I will say it was hard to make my choice because there are so many great gf options that I usually can’t find out! Highly recommend!!

showed up for dinner. only pancakes and crepes available for gluten free. no bread for any sandwhich. all dinner entrees full of gluten including shrimp and grits which seems pointless. unhappy with selection while hubby eats a delicious pot roast. too bad for me. It seems like Seattle is the only place to get a decent GF dinner.

They have Gluten Free menu, which states on the bottom a reminder they are not a gluten free facility. My daughter has Celiac disease and ordered the Walnut Sweet Cream French Toast. She loved it and had NO issues. My husband and I both had the Gluten Free Triple Berry Crepes. They were extremely good and also had No issues. Our waitress was very friendly and quite punctual. I highly recommend for a great breakfast!
