We had a civic function dinner at Buzzie’s, and it was wonderful! The brisket was smoked to perfection and the beans were amazing. I had been concerned because of the previous reviews. I was able to speak to Buzzie himself, who told me that there is zero gluten in any of his products or rubs (no MSG either). He said the only things that had gluten was the bread. I think the peach cobbler did as well, but I didn’t eat that. Highly recommend this BBQ place!
Brisket and Cole slaw was excellent! Owner came over to say hello. Rub & Sauce was gluten free
When I asked about gluten free, the woman taking my order asked the cook “do you use flour in anything.” As any celiac knows, gluten is hidden in more than flour. But I ate here anyway because bbq is usually safe and another reviewer said he had no trouble.
I had the BBQ brisket baked potato. It was okay. I’ve had better and this place was featured in Texas Monthly as one of the best but it was just average imo. We also paid $71 for our family of 5 so it’s frustrating that the price/quality don’t meet up.
The beans my husband ate were just plain ranch style beans you could get in the grocery store.

Ate the brisket, cole slaw, and potato salad with no issues. Did not try the sauce or ask about ingredients, as I prefer bbq that doesn’t need sauce! As a celiac I had no issues with the food.
