The chicken tenders are gluten free, not sure why they told another poster that they weren’t. I asked when I was there, they said everything there is gluten free. So now I’m just confused why people are saying that they have a sandwich that isn’t, and the tenders aren’t.
I got an email back from the company stating:
Hello, good afternoon, we do not belong to the app called Gluten Free Finder. Our food is Gluten-free Venezuelan food. The chicken tenders are gluten free, like the rest of the food that is prepared in this restaurant.
Any concerns, do not hesitate to write to us again.
Thank you so much

I was surprised at how small their menu was initially- but everything except the chicken tenders are GF from what I understood speaking to the staff!! Had the fries and no reaction after which was amazing (they said they were safe for GF folks but I’m always nervous lol), the food was flavorful and the spot is super cute!!

This was quick and flavorful. I have had other arepas I have liked better. However I felt it was pretty safe. Almost everything is gf. I will update if I get sick. Black beans came with white rice. Would have preferred some sort of seasoned rice. Plantains were yummy. Arepas are a bit spicy

Delicious gf empanadas! Then use the same batter for their empanadas and arepas. I took a risk trying the chicken, cheese, and green Chile empanada (and also went with a safe mozzarella and black bean one) as they said it wasn’t spicy. We definitely have different definitions of spice, haha! It was so spicy, I had to give it to my bf who tolerates spice better than I do. The black bean & mozzarella one was delicious, as were the plantains. Would definitely recommend going here, but don’t fool yourself into eating one with chiles if you’re from the Midwest and grew up eating food “seasoned” with butter and salt like me lol.

Excellent! It’s located in the Saw Mill which is basically a big food court with a wide variety of food. It’s noisy on the inside but the food was so good we did not mind the noise

I called to confirm their GF options and the employee said everything is GF except a sandwich they offer and cook in the oven. Everything else is fried/cooked separately. I had the chicken and chile empanada with a side of beans and rice. So good!!!

Great Celiac safe spot in Albuquerque! I had an arepa with chicken and green chilis. It was dairy free too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Delicious! Super simple but outstanding. The arepas with ham and cheese is fantastic for breakfast! Add a fried egg - so yummy. Not cheap, but worth it.

So happy with all the gluten free options! Everything was very yummy and the staff was so patient answering all my questions. Was nice to get a little taste of Venezuela here in New Mexico. Had the cachapa with beef and cheese and a chicken empanada. Definitely recommend :)

Loved everything about this. The location is inside the Sawmill District Food Hall. Lots of different food counters with a variety of choices. I had a ham and white cheese cachapa which was a sweet corn bread with corn mixed in, poured out like a pancake on a griddle and then ham and cheese cooked on top and folded over. No cross contamination as mine was the only one cooking. Service was awesome!

Family owned business with the BEST gf food- I got an arepa, an empanada and plantains. Wow- such good food!!! And they have a dedicated fryer! And they are the sweetest family- could not recommend enough. GF options are slim in Albuquerque and this was the first time I’ve felt truly safe throughout my entire trip.
