No options on the menu, which was a printed sheet that looked like it had been handled by 100 people before me. When we asked the waiter he said the salad bar is the only thing that might be GF. I didn’t risk anything but my family ordered. Prices were gouged unbelievably high, restaurant was dirty, food was unappetizing. I wouldn’t go back even if they did have options for me.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
— Poor
Menu is marked. Waitress marked allergy and food was good. Did not get sick.
I am not at all confident in the gluten free knowledge of the staff at this restaurant. The menu is labeled with items that are gluten free (or at least can be made gluten free). I ordered chop steak with onions on top, which was labeled gluten free. I notified the waitress that I needed my meal to be gluten free, and she acted like she understood what I meant. However, when my meal was brought out, a large piece of garlic bread was sitting on top of the meat. When I told her that I could not eat the meat due to gluten contamination, she tried to fix the issue by simply taking the bread off of my plate. Obviously, this was not the correct way to resolve the issue. I would avoid eating here, even though there aren't many options in Wall.
No
There aren’t many choices in Wall. We stopped in for take out. My burger was really good (no bun), and they forgot the soup to go with the fish and veggies we ordered. The nachos left a lot to be desired, but the overworked waitresses were really nice and did their best.
A few gluten free options and they know what celiac means. Food was tested to be gluten free (buffalo steak with steamed veggies).
Yes
Almost didn't come.based on other reviews, but we had a good experience. Our 8 year old son has Celiac and is very sensitive. No manager on duty, but the employees did understand the term "gluten allergy." they took allergy precautions, cooked his burger (no bun of course) and steamed vegetables in a separate pan. The food tasted really good (I ordered the same thing) and our son did not get sick. Hard to ask for anything more than that. No separate GF menu. There are several items on the regular menu marked as able to prepare GF. Burgers are not marked but can be done if without the bun.
Yes
We ate in the bar area, the bartender was working hard to manage the starting of a holiday weekend. The food was decent everyone had burgers better than average bar food/fries etc....and the general menu has items that are marked GF availability...I had the chopped bison steak and veggies. It was good!
Yes
They didn't know what gluten was. I had the coffee while my family ate.
When I asked the hostess if they had a gluten free menu she looked confused. I explained what it was and she said she would go ask the cook. The cook said yes and when my server came out he asked which one needed gluten free. He told me that they would be sure to cook separately. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon & hash browns. I have celiac and did not get sick. Not super celiac friendly but they were able to accommodate my dietary needs.
I would give this negative stars if possible. We have 2 people with celiac disease. They had items marked gluten free on the menu. The waitress said she understood gluten free but clearly did not. We found a crouton in my husbands salad despite clearly saying no croutons. My daughters "broiled" fish came almost 10 min after the rest of the meals and was breaded. The waitress argued with us that it wasn't breaded before checking with the kitchen and then coming back and saying the fish was coated with flour. She removed the charge for the fish but did not offer to have a new item prepared. Not that we would have taken it in any case.....
