My wife and I had appetizers there this afternoon. We had a good conversation with the waiter about my wife’s Celiac and how there cannot be any cross contamination. She had an iced tea and the truffle fries, which we were reassured were completely safe. Unfortunately, my wife got sick about an hour after we finished.

Cactus Club in West Van has been a godsend. They do an amazing job to substitute anything that might be touched by gluten. I’ve never had an issue eating here. Really grateful for their consideration.

Absolutely worth every cent! It’s pricey, but great gf food and cool atmosphere and views of Coal harbor. Get the Hot chicken and pickles. I embarrassed myself with all the “Mmmmm” sounds I made!🤣 Also had the Feenie burger. Just delicious. I am way too full right now!

I’ve eaten a lot of GF fried chicken over the years and the Nashville hot fried chicken and pickles at Cactus Club stands out as one of the best ever. I was swooning. They use a dedicated fryer and were very accommodating. I might actually fly back to Vancouver just to eat here! 😍😍

They have GF items labeled. I ordered the calamari and avocado dip. The calamari wasn’t the best. Avocado dip just ok, it isn’t guacamole. There are plenty of other GF restaurants around, I probably wouldn’t eat here again

AMAZING! Awesome gf selection and separate fryer!! I went here twice and both times got the cajun chicken sandwich with fries. They are very accommodating. Also the location of the restaurant is fabulous, great outdoor space. Good drinks. Great non gf food too. Totally would go back

Tried this venue for dinner on Saturday. Told the staff we needed gluten free. He asked all the right questions. Said they had a separate fryer and when the waitress brought out our meal she reiterated that it was GF and everything was ok. The gave us real confidence

They were able to offer many things to our gf daughter. Ended up with banned chicken wings and fries (to avoid cc in fryer). All great food. But it is pricey.

Lots of options, they can bake the fries for you so they aren’t in the shared fryer. Had a burger with a decent gf bun. Very knowledgeable

I’ve ate at this location a number of times, ordering the med bowl three times. Each time the server let me know they had a new separate dedicated fryer, it’s been safe for 2/3 times (I’m a later in life diagnosis and currently extremely sensitive)! Not the biggest GF menu, but appreciate the efforts.

A great spot for gluten free food. Since they’re a chain, you can easily find allergen information. This location is big and spacious as well! They have a good understanding of gluten “allergies.” My favourite dishes are the hot chicken and pickles (made in a separate fryer) and the zen sushi rolls.

Really great staff, went and checked all the ingredients of the tofu bowl, there was a may contain on one sauce, I risked it because it seemed really unlikely to be an issue but could have gotten something else and it was reassuring that they'd tell me. Separate fryer!
