Wonderful food, helpful server and a free GF dessert because it was out first time there! Heads up…. Chips are made in a shared frier so they are not safe.

Great option for food in downtown Kirkland if you are celiac. I’m very sensitive and this is one of the few places in the area I feel confident eating at and knowing I will not get sick. They have a fairly extensive gf menu and in my experience the servers are very knowledgeable. Unfortunately you will need to stay away from the chips as they are cooked in oil shared with other items containing gluten. I typically get the tacos (I’ve had all the ones on the gf menu) or the chop chop salad. Just tell your server you are gf and they are happy to accommodate.

Our server helped answer any questions about the GF menu and brought me a separate bowl of GF tortillas since the chips are fried in a shared fryer. Thank you Ricky for making it a wonderful safe experience!

Wow, awesome experience and customer service. Make sure you go online and add yourself to waitlist! Didnt have you long a wait, and good that you can walk around the general Bellevue Square area. The entrance is a little hard to find. Lol, but worht the wait. Great ambience plenty of GF options. The food is excellent. It was our first time, and the server got us a free dessert which was a nice welcome surprise : - ) to end the meal.

I’ve eaten here 2x now. They have a Gf menu and worked around my milk allergy. Had the fajitas both times-so yummy! Enough for nearly 2 meals each time. The basic coffee was good too! Didn’t get sick and I’m a sensitive Celiac.

I ordered takeout and the host who took my order was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She was patient and answered all my questions. They have a separate GF menu (you can filter their online menu by dietary restriction). She gave me a heads up not to get the chips with the guacamole but that I could order a side of tortillas and assured me the kitchen would change gloves and clean the grill, though I got the green enchiladas, so that wasn’t an issue. Very delicious, clearly marked “celiac” on my meal and no issues after eating it. Great experience and will absolutely return.

Knowledgeable staff. I have eaten here many times and have only had one time when they mixed up the order. I double checked before eating it and they quickly redid the order.
Yes
They offer a gluten free menu and the waiters are usually pretty understanding when you order gluten-free. I’ve never had an issue. However, I’m not sure it would be entirely celiac safe as I’m sure there’s some cross contamination happening in their kitchen .
Have never gotten glutened at any Cactus location when ordering from their GF menu.

This place is the best!!! All the waiters are very knowledgeable and they have a gf menu! Although their chips are not gf the have corn tortillas you can dip in guacamole and salsa and they are amazing!!!

My go to place in the Seattle area. The one is Kirkland is way better than the one in Bellevue, fyi. They will bring you fresh sliced veggies for your quac. And the tortilla soup is out of this world!!!

This was incredible. The service was great, speedy food, great quality and absolutely delicious with a fair amount of options. We were thrilled and no reactions made this extra great. I intend to return.
what an awesome find.

Amazing staff. Good gluten free menu. The brisket tacos are good. The grilled jalapeños are worth the trip from anywhere, but be aware they are HOT. This place is a ways from home, but I will be back.

Special gluten free menu and ask if celiac or not. Highly recommend!

Love Cactus. Their corn tortillas are the best every. Lots of option on the gluten free menu and staff is very knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask about items on the fresh sheet. My faves are the brisket tacos dinner and steak salad. Highly recommend!
Wow, amazing food!!! I highly recommend Cactus! Our server was fantastic and very friendly. The food was delicious!!!
Excellent variety of food and drinks on the gluten free menu! The fajitas and margaritas are great! A little disappointing there are no gluten free chips, but the corn tortillas they give you instead are delicious. I have celiac & was comfortable eating there.
Stopped in for lunch and very pleased. Full GF menu, knowledgeable wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. Will be back with the family for supper.
Fajitas are yummy! I wish the chips were gf, but I love that they have a gf menu too! We go here often!
Very extensive - and delicious gluten free menu. Our server also warned me about the tortilla chips and brought me some non-fried corn tortillas, Very nice touch!
Wonderful, Gluten free menu. *Note: chips are fried in a shared kitchen fryer; thus, steer clear of chips to avoid cross contamination with gluten.
Great experience. While the chips are fried with gluten items, they can bring you a small bowl of veggies (jicama, bell pepper and cucumber) to dip into the guac. Yum! Enjoyed the beef fajita platter with corn tortillas with no issues. Waitress made sure to make a note of my celiac status and when the food was delivered the manager announced my plate was gluten free which was reassuring. The separate gf menu is accessed by a QR code. Weirdly, the fajitas are described as coming with flour tortillas. I think they just copy and pasted the items from their menu that they can safely make gf.

Good food, shared fryer so no chips (crudite is a good alternative) No separate cooking area for GF foods, and lots of cross contamination so do not recommend if celiac. Great if cross contamination isn’t an issue for you.

Had the chop chop chicken and bacon salad with no cotija. I told the server I was gluten intolerant. I felt OK during and after, it was also delicious.

Pretty good food. I went with the Sonoran Spa Chicken from the gluten free menu, and a side of corn tortillas and guacamole. I had to press a little bit for answers on what was cross contaminated and what wasn’t, but the items I chose ended up being safe. The corn chips are in a shared fryer so stay clear of those. Did not get sick.
