Cafe Brûlée is a cute little cafe in downtown Vermillion. Almost anything on the menu can be made GF because they have GF bread. Personally, I am not a huge fan of their bread because it kinda has a cake like texture to it. They also offer GF muffins which are very good.

Enjoyed this restaurant very much! GF menu with many options. Does not have a dedicated fryer but had many options for sides that were not French fries. Celiac so I will only do dedicated dryer. Server was quick to share this so I was aware of potential cross contamination. Two in our party ordered GF and all food was really good. My nephew had fries and felt fine and said they were really good.

We have been there twice in the last three days because they were supposed to be the most Celiac friendly place in town. The first night our waitress was absolutely rude to my sister-in-law and I who both have Celiac. She also blamed our food for everyone else's taking so long after half the table had their food and put our orders in wrong. She was kind enough to everyone else but when ordering steak didnt ask me my preference on temperature and the steak came out well over done. Extremely disappointing. The second day we went for breakfast and the waitress (different than the other night) messed up several other dishes. I was sure mine was ok and ate it all, but later got extremely sick from something that had gluten in it there. We are fairly sure it was that they gave me regular wheat toast. So disappointed by it all, and we will not take a chance back there again.

They have added a statement to their menu encouraging patrons to ask about gluten-free options. They are genuinely trying to accommodate people with Celiac's or gluten intolerance. They also have guaranteed gluten-free fries!
Very willing to accommodate persons with gluten and other food allergies. Many of the standard items on the menu can be made GF. There is also homemade GF bread which can also be purchased by the loaf to be taken home.
