I have had the food on several occasions and most have been pleasant. I will agree there is a little inconsistency but that may be because they are gluten free. I am happy to have more gluten free options around. The Jerk chicken pizza is amazing and by far my favorite

The taste and quality of the food are awful. There is no taste at all to some, the pie was literally slime on a shingle, gag worthy mac and cheese, cold hard fries, and food with potential, but lacks components to make it what it's supposed to be. I have been gluten free for 12 years and know that it's not because it's gluten free food, it's because somebody lacks cooking skills to put it as nicely as possible. Unfortunately, that isn't even the most concerning, when we walked in there were plates of food sitting near the entrance as though they were waiting to be served, the grocery area has items in it that aren't gluten free (spelt flour and noodles), they host a non gluten free donut truck (outside, but still nerve wracking to gf folks), and lastly I hate to say it, but I may have gotten sick from this place...qaulity, maybe? But ironically I started experiencing symptoms of being glutened within minutes of finishing what was edible of my meal (stomach ache, facial numbness, eye pain, headache, ibs). Friendly staff, cute place, but seriously lacking culinary skill and general food health/safety knowledge.

This owner, now the second person who’s claimed as such to me, says it’s a targeted conspiracy against them. Nobody believes that at all. You have a person in your employ who’s that disgruntled? You would not respond this way if these things weren’t true, that’s just crazy. I never worked for you, never attempted to, and am only commenting on my experience. You just made your problem 100 times worse by trying this craziness.

His response is also a lie. There haven’t been 18 bad reviews in 3 days, these go back more than a month. You can see the dates.

This restaurant has to be some kind of joke. On my 2nd visit, I made the drastic mistake of complaining about some of the food. I attempted to contact them on their Facebook page. My complaints were not only ignored, but treated with hostility.

Like nearly everyone else I can see, the breads here are inedible. Or at best very inconsistent, you’ll never get the same thing twice. The menu is a mix of seemingly one or two dishes from every surrounding restaurant, it makes no sense at all.

And not only that, with all of that variation, the food is just plain bad. There’s no specialities, no core food. I have had one decent thing here, the coffee & donuts provided by Eden Donuts parked outside. Everything else is an abject disaster and god forbid you bring it up.

The staff are very nice. But the fear is that for people like me, this place won’t be around long enough to fix their problems. Do not go here until or unless they get help.

I don’t know who decided to open this place, but they have no business owning a restaurant.

They charge $15 for sandwiches and salads and they’re WORSE than something I can buy at the grocery store down the street. There is a Sheetz nearby and their to-go salads are of higher quality than this place, and only $5!

I was unlucky enough to eat of their biscuits on my first trip here, and it’s very difficult to overstate how bad they are. Not to mention, The French fries; these are the worst fries I have ever had in my life. I thought the other reviews were exaggerating, but no, they were being KIND.

I have IBS, so it’s always a nightmare to eat out, so it was good to see a place that could be safe for me to eat. It is just horrible and needs some serious help from people who know what they’re doing. Because these people definitely do NOT.

Ok where to start. Friendly and accommodating staff, really nice patio, good music acts, and a chill vibe. Coffee is also pretty good.

The food. Wow, the food. It’s just not that good. The bread is chalky and dense, and doesn’t have much flavor at all. Just because you make something from scratch doesn’t mean it’s good. The waffles were hard & undercooked, the biscuits were crumbly and dense, and the chicken on the waffles was horrible. Dry, nearly inedible. This place may be completely gluten free, but it’s a very poor excuse for restaurant food. Extremely disappointing. Don’t order food here.

I like to support local businesses when I’m traveling, I take route 99 a lot and frequently eat on Plank Road, Outback and Marzonis being regular stops, but they’re chains. I stopped at this newer place last week and am just now getting around to writing this. I want to say first that the staff is very nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is good.

Now the bad part. I read the reviews and thought, those look pretty good, and then I read the negative ones and something didn’t seem quite right. So I stopped in to sample and see what it was all about, I’m not a celiac, I have a gluten intolerance and this place is gluten free, which is great. However the food is absolutely horrible. I don’t really know what to say other than I’ve been all over this state and I’ve never had worse French fries or this poorly presented and cooked chicken. The review about the chicken and waffles being inedible is exactly what I experienced as well, the chicken is somehow both over and undercooked, I couldn’t eat it. The fries have no flavor and seem like just defrosted barely cooked raw potatoes. They’re really bad. And now let us get to the real problem: it appears that this place is writing their own reviews on this website and others. On this app, I recognized one of the reviewers photos when I was in the building. That is dirty pool and explains why the locals are saying bad things about this place and the food. Stay very far away until this is either fixed or they get some clue about how inferior the product is.

There are VERY good gluten free options in this area, I’ve eaten at almost all of them, and this place isn’t even close to being competitive. Have the coffee and talk tot he staff, but do NOT order food.

The people are incredibly friendly, the outdoor space is beautiful, and the coffee is good, but the food is terrible. I was so excited to finally have a place where I can eat everything on the menu, but I won't order food there again. I got chicken and waffles. The waffle was so hard I could barely cut it, and it was totally dry inside. The chicken was mediocre at best. My mom ordered a quesadilla with fries. The fries were so undercooked that neither of us could eat them, and the quesadilla was basically large tortilla chips with some things melted between them. Not good at all. Terribly disappointing.

This place is LEGIT. 100% gluten free, waffles, breaded shrimp, sub sandwiches, and more. They don’t price gouge, the staff is amazing, and the food is so yummy.

This celiac has a happy belly and can’t wait to come back.

This place is an absolute gem!! All the comfort foods but gluten free! 9 year old celiac approved:). Just know you order at the counter then go sit. They bring your food to you but I wasn’t prepared for the ordering at the counter with 4 kiddos but the food was excellent!

Absolutely delicious!!! Service was great, ambience was great. Interesting building. Everything tasted really fresh.

Found this great little place on our way through Altoona. 100% gluten free restaurant. Lots of options, including all day breakfast. I had the Jerk Chicken flatbread. My daughter had the waffles. My husband had an omelette. We shared mozzarella sticks. Everything was delicious!

It recently opened and the entire menu was gluten free! My daughter was so excited to be able to get mozzarella sticks. The chicken tenders were also delicious!
