All I get here is gf cheesecake with special instructions to use a clean knife etc. Recently I did a phone order for curbside pickup. The cake tasted better than usual and within 2 hours I was violently ill for the rest of the night (a friends birthday). When I spoke to a manager about it possibly being a regular cheesecake or having been cut with shared tools (it usually takes a lot to make me that sick) he was extremely rude and denied any responsibility on their part. I asked very nicely I want to add- I wasn’t trying to make it a big problem. He then told me there was nothing he could do for me (in terms of a refund or something) unless I was able to “return” the slice of cake ?????? In the same breath he told me “our cake didn’t make you sick, please come back again”. It was literally the only thing I had eaten. There’s no doubt in my mind. I get that these things happen in shared bakeries but his attitude and denial was really offputting to me. In the end I just asked that he pass it on to the staff as a reminder to take extra care with allergy orders over the phone. To which he responded “we already do that”. I have been a lifelong customer here since before my diagnosis but I doubt I will ever risk it again after being treated with such disdain. I would recommend avoiding it. Don’t offer a gf cake if you can’t handle serving it to people.
I work at a wedding venue and the cheesecakes they had were from here- GF standard cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was tasty but the crust wasn’t cooked right on any of them. It stuck to the cardboard so we basically served cheesecake with no crust. When you spend $40 on cakes I guess I would expect them to be cooked appropriately. Wouldn’t recommend for gf options- their regular stuff is delightful.
It sure about the food options but we order a gluten free turtle cheese cake and it was soooo delicious!!!
Farro apple salad listed as GF option. Farro is wheat. Their flourless chocolate torte is excellent, however.
They don't have many options, but they have some. Usually at least one pre made salad and a soup. They also have a Gf cheesecake and flourless torte. The Gf stuff I've had has been good, just not a lot of selection, which makes sense because they're mostly a bakery. It's worth a quick glance through to see what they have and if not interested, go to Brasa.
The truffles and the gf cheesecake were the only 2 dessert options when we were there, they had run out of other options by 10pm. Truffles were delicious. Just disappointing they didn't have more options.
The gluten free chicken chili was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. Very few GF options other than salad. Not kid friendly at all. I would give zero stars if the app would let me.
Clearly listed GF options on the menu, owner is very eager to add more options, bakery manager is very sensitive to GF requests even though its not a GF facility. Flourless chocolate cake, crust-less cheesecakes, pavlovas, meringue kisses, yum! Only wish they had GF bread options.
