Review of Cafe Miranda

A local person recommended this place, especially for it’s Fish chowder. It truly was the best Haddock chowder I have ever eaten! This is a true complement, as I grew up & lived on the downeast coast of Maine & lived on Campobello Island for 30 years. It was made to order & roasted with flavorful smokehouse bacon, new potatoes & onions, cream and a delicious stock for flavoring. I chose not to have the corn in mine. The menu is creative & unique. It is a small cafe’ and a very busy spot, so you need to make a reservation in advance of a suppertime meal. I make them aware of my dietary restriction of Celiac disease when I called for the reservation & to my server when I arrived. I had no issues with my Celiac Disease. Enjoy.
