We didn’t get sick, but the food was extremely plain and bland, especially for the price. We aren’t super picky, but this just wasn’t great. Not horrible, just more like a $10 dish than a $20 one. They said they had a new chef and we wondered if that was the issue.

Me and my husband have been here 3 times in the last 2 years. He has celiacs and is very sensitive. He never had any trouble eating here. We both really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Such a great dinner! Staff walked me through every item in the menu highlighting what was gluten free, what and how dishes could be or not be modified. I had a fantastic sea bass w amazingly tasty lemon mashed potatoes. When gluten free desert was not on presented menu my waitress spoke to the chef and they provided me flourless choc cake. All of the great food, great service in a great setting. It you want to treat yourself this is the place to go. Much gratitude!

What a delight to go into this charming little restaurant and have the owner be gf so therefore the waitstaff were very familiar with gluten issues Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgable The food was delicious , which just proves once again you don't need gluten in food for it to be wonderful I had a great soup and then a lovely light pasta dish with chicken , asparagus and spinach . I even had room for dessert with was an incredible flourless chocolate cake with strawberries If you are in the Pittsburg area and you are looking for a delicious gf dinner , make your way over to the Cafe Notte

Best GF pasta experience while in Pittsburgh! The owner is GF, which means most of the menu can be made GF. They are also careful to avoid cross contamination, reassuring me that clean utensils & cookware are used for all dishes. I had a grilled salmon over GF rice pasta with parmesan cream sauce. my travel companion also dines GF and had the blackened salmon over polenta mixed with Italian ham. Both dishes were tasty & safe. They offer GF bread & dessert as well, which I passed on having. We left filled, satisfied and GI content
