She had the GF menu in her hand already when we came to sit down and placed a red napkin in front of me to signal that I was GF for safety. I had the carbonara and it was very tasty. Greeted with various menus and asked if either of us had any food allergies or restrictions. On saying I have coeliac disease, I was offered a separate gf menu and a red napkin was placed on my plate to alert the waiters. It was a really nice evening. The atmosphere was really cozy and good. The food was really delicious and there was a big variety of gluten-free stuff. They also had a gluten-free menu cart and the staff seemed to be very informed about the topic. When we arrived he directly asked if we have any allergies. After I told him I have celiac, he showed me the menu and also changed my Serviette to a red one so it isn’t possible that there are any mistakes.

The food is delicious and they are open later which is great. I went twice it was so great. It’s not dedicated gf but they take a lot of precautions and ask about allergies up front. The staff are super welcoming too! I didn’t feel sick at all after eating here (have celiac). Again, the pasta is so delicious !

One of our favourite dinners from the time we spent in Amsterdam. We turned up and my table place was marked with a red napkin to say allergen so that all cutlery etc was safe and so servers knew who they were serving.

First time I’d had lasagne out since diagnosis (almost seven years ago). They had gluten free tiramisu as well! Both me and my non gluten free husband thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best Italian meals we’d had anywhere. We had a long conversation with the owner who couldn’t do enough for us. Even asked us if there were things we’d love to see on the menu as things she could work on for the future.

Had some very delicious salad with goat cheese. They asked if I was gluten free when I was being seated and gave me a gluten free menu without my needing to ask. Nice atmosphere. They give you a red napkin for gluten free, but food plate was not marked with anything. There is no pizza on the gluten free menu but honestly that's a good sign for celiac safety hahhaha. I am not doing a celiac safety rating because I didn't have the energy to quiz them and my reactions aren't obvious, but I did feel very safe here from the information I do have.

Outstanding Italian food in the Nieuw Markt area of Central Amsterdam!!! Came here in April and it was so amazing, we came again in September when we were back in Amsterdam. Reservations HIGHLY recommended, as they fill up in advance and turn people away at the door. They have a dedicated GF menu which is offered by the staff immediately upon sitting down - they totally understand celiac as well as other allergies. The GF menu has many options for every course - starters, pasta, main course, dessert - at least 6-8 options for each. No GF pizza, but you will not miss it! We came here twice and everything was amazing each time! Soup, two salads, sardines, two pasta dishes (pesto, mushroom), and main dishes (chicken, pork). Dessert - OMG - do not leave without trying their amazing tiramisu and/or tartufo, both outstanding confections that surpass their non-GF counterparts! Despite the crowds wishing to dine here, we never felt rushed. Everything was amazing. Please come if you can!

Second time I've been here but first time since my celiac diagnosis. Since last time they have made huge improvements! The first thing they asked after we sat down was if we had any allergies, and when I said I eat gluten free they had a separate menu in a different color to the regular one. It was very nice to be able to look through a menu without needing to mentally exclude the non GF options. The GF menu is also quite big so it doesn't feel like you miss much. There's even a few options which the regular menu doesn't have which shows they're willing to put in the extra effort. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great too with a unique layout inside. I received a red napkin showing that I follow a GF diet so that all waiters would instantly know, which reduces the risk of mistakes. The food was delicious and I felt no ill effects after eating which shows they take care with cross contamination too although I did not see the kitchen or ask about their procedures. All in all a very comfortable and comforting experience which we're sure to repeat!
