This was our first visit. I wanted to come here because of other reviews boasting the gluten free options on their menu. The have a gluten free bagel and several other pastries. We stopped in to get bagel sandwiches to go. It was fairly busy. It took around 40 minutes for our order. I did hear staff telling those ordering that it would be a 30 minute wait for food (this is around 30 minutes into our wait). If I would've been given the same FYI, then I wouldn't have ordered. They are either understaffed or always that busy. I'm not sure. If there's an order ahead/online option that would certainly be something to try. I asked the employee taking our order to please inform the kitchen staff that I have Celiac disease and that it's important that my food is gluten free. I also asked her to ask the kitchen to take precautions such as changing gloves and using new utensils. She seemed bothered by the request and didn't acknowledge it with a response. The food itself was good! I wouldn't come here again. It's not worth the 40 minute wait and I'm not confident in cross contact safety.

It appears this place is closed for good. Ended up going across the street to Keweenaw Coffee Works. They had gf bagels and bread (probably Udi’s), but truly amazing coffee.
Along with their exceptional gluten-friendly bakery items, this has been our primary go-to breakfast and lunch option in the Keweenaw. We frequent this place above all others in the area. My spouse and I are both highly gluten intolerant. While it’s not a dedicated gluten-free facility, we’ve never felt ill after eating here. We can say the same of very few other establishments. That said, it is cafe fare with fewer items on the main menu than one might like. Their hours of operation are also relatively narrow. Plan ahead.

We stopped here on our way thru Calumet for a coffee only to find this place was awesome and had some of the best GF muffins, scones and a few other options (granola and yogurt, quiche). Their coffee and coffee drinks were outstanding too. I would highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area and need GF breakfast options.

Great gluten free breakfast, sandwiches, soups and bakery! Oh and don’t forget the coffee! Cafe Rosetta is one of my favorite places to go!

Cafe Rosetta is a hidden gem. The cafe has a refurbished retro vibe that's uncommon yet exciting to see in the UP. It offers many gluten free choices; I've tried the roast beef sandwich and the turkey pesto, both of which were delicious! Absolutely would recommend
Had turkey wild rice soup and a piece of GF bread. I told the cashier I had celiac and asked them to be careful with the bread (ordered non -GF food for others in my family). My food was brought out separately. The soup was delicious and I didn't have any reaction.

Ate here and loved it! Udi's bread for sandwiches, soups gf too. Lots of baked goods in bakery case. I have severe Celiac disease, super sensitive, and had no reaction. Staff stated they wipe down everything prior to making the gf options. Wonderful local food!
