Our favourite local go to coeliac safe cafe. Their entire menu can be made gluten free and 95% of their cabinet food is GF. The lovely owner/ chef is coeliac so you can be rest assured that you are in very safe and knowledgeable hands. They offer a few non GF sandwiches (always on the bottom shelf) and we have been told they make the sandwiches offsite. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I love this place! The food tastes like real food not the same old cafe food you get everywhere, the coffee is good and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend it

My husband and I came to your cafe today and unfortunately were left disappointed. We ordered a croissant from the cabinet and a La Casa meal with an Americano coffee and a mango smoothie. We had come to the cafe as I am coeliac and it had been advertised and recommended on various gluten free Facebook pages as being a completely gluten free environment, which it obviously isn't any more.

Unfortunately we had to wait over 20 minutes for my husband's coffee and croissant to arrive at the table, another 5 - 10 for my smoothie and over 45 minutes after ordering for my meal. While it looked appetizing, it was disappointing. Everything (hashbrown, avocado, eggs and sauce) was the same texture and had no individual distinguishable flavours. I left half of it on my plate.

I wanted to offer my feedback to you in the hopes that other people will have a better experience and be more likely to return. If we had been told on ordering that there was a wait, we would have understood, especially if the drinks had arrived in a timely manner, but we had to ask about our order several times.

It is also no longer in Moera, but in downtown Lower Hutt

With the owner/ chef being coeliac I felt very safe eating here. She took the time to talk me through her menu and cabinet food , most of which is GF. My lunch was delicious.

So, so good here - been coming here for years now & the GF menu has gotten better & better. I’d say 90% of items are GF or can be made GF and safe! Such a great selection & SUPER delicious. Looking forward to visiting more frequently when they move to their new location on High St.

Head chef is coeliac so they know their stuff. About 90% of menu and cabinet is GF and coeliac safe. We had decilious chorizo eggs benny, an almond slice and cheese scones to go.

The Chef is Spanish and Coeliac, everything made on premises is GF. Also working with Pandoro bakery for normal bread options. The food was very delicious and the portions are big, 100% recommended!
